Be it remembered that on this 23rd day A.D. 1845 that I Wm. P. Snow Parish Judge and exofficio notary public in and for the said parish & state in pursuance of a decree of the Court of Probates of said parish bearing date the 7th day of August A. D. 1845 and having received official information of the death of Tristram B. Thomas, Esqr. who departed this life intestate at his residence in the Pine Hills in said parish on the 10th day of July A. D. 1845 leaving his widow and relict Mary H. Brown --Also the following named children minors, and issues of his marriage with the said Mary H. Brown
To wit -James B. Thomas born Oct 9th 1824. Phillip H, Thomas born 24 August 1826. Gerald B. Thomas born 12 October 1828. Benjamin F. born 24 May 1832. Sarah A. born 30th Oct 1834. Elizabeth A. born 24 May 1837. Lucy A. born 27 September 1839 & Mary A. born 18 March 1842. Also a considerable estate of proberty real and personal rights and credits, and for the purpose of making an inventory and appraisement of all the property composing the estate and succession of the decedant Tristram B. Thomas Esqr. have referred to his late residence in the Pine Hills in said parish......
