"Yeah, I guess so," I said walking over to the girls body. I rolled the body over and..
"Its just a dummy!" I yelled. Just then the manager of the hotel walked in.
"Ok everyone settle down. Its just a dummy. Some stupid teenager probally decided to play a prank on everyone," he said trying to calm everyone down. It was then that I noticed Nicole and Brian where gone.
"Nick, where's Nicole and Brian?" I asked getting a sick feeling in my stomach.
"I dont know. Maybe they are up in their room?" he said giving me this sly look.
"Cause you know thats where we should be right now," he said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Is that ALL you ever think about?" I said laughing.
"No," he said, "and it hurts me that you say that Kristie, but you know it is hard to think of anything else when I got you for a wife." He leaned over and kissed me.
"Yeah, I have that effect on people." I said.
We started walking towards the stairs when we heard someone shouting for help.
"That sounds alot like Nicole!" I said getting that sickening feeling in my stomach again. We ran outside towards her voice.
"Nicole!" I yelled.
"Kristie?! Help me!!" I heard her scream.
"Where are you?" I shouted running towards where I thought the voice was coming from.
"I'm at the pier! Help, I can't hold on much longer!" Nick and I ran as fast as we could to the pier. The storm had gotten worse and the waves where crashing hard against the shore. When we finally got there we saw Nicole hanging on to the edge of the dock for dear life.
"Nicole, hold on! We'll be there in a second!" I shouted over the roaring waves. The rain was pouring hard on us and the wind was blowing hard so it was almost impossible to keep our footing on the slick dock, but somehow me and Nick made it to Nicole. We grabbed her and pulled her to safety.
"Nicole are you ok? What happened?" I asked. She turned to me and said, "Where's Brian?".
"I dont know. We haven't seen him." Nick said. Nicole's eyes got wide and she looked back out towards the dock.
"Not Brian!!" she yelled and slumed down to the ground.
