Conrad Schnitzler Says Hello. Conrad Schnitzler was a founding member of both Tangerine Dream and Kluster (the precursor to Cluster), and his solo music is incredibly diverse but always offbeat. It ranges from the proto-industrial sound to near noise of Rot, his first solo effort, to the sci-fi "B" movie soundtrack feel of Conal, to the hautingly beautiful, rythmic electronic sounds of the 1978 release Con. My favorite: Ballet Statique, a CD reissue of all of Con plus five bonus tracks.
