I finished 11th grade with no problem this year. I was really depressed about hardly seeing Nick, but I didn't show it around school or my parents. Only Heather knew. I was glad that summer was here and I could see Nick more. I think our love grew stronger being apart. I really love him and nothing is going to change that. But when school starts up in the fall, Nick will be going to college and I will only see him on breaks since he will be living in the dorms. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. But right now I'm not going to think about that. Tonight I'm going over to Heather's to celebrate summer. I'm going to spend the night. Heather's boyfriend, Dan, is coming over as well as Nick and we are going to the movies or something. I can't wait. I really want to see Nick.
The day dragged on forever. But soon, Heather came, picked me up and we were gone. I went over there and spent time with her before we went out with the guys. I haven't really been a good friend the past year to her. I didn't return phone calls or talk to her that often. I'm just glad that our friendship is coming back together. Guys shouldn't come between us like that. From about 2 o'clock to 4 Heather did my hair and make-up and I did hers. It was so much fun. I missed doing that stuff with her. Well, anyways, after that Dan showed up around 4:30. Nick should be here any time now. Interrupting my many thoughts about Nick, the doorbell to Heather's rang.
"I'll get it!!" I screamed.
I opened the door to see Nick on the porch. I ran into his arms and he held me there till Heather and Dan broke us up.
"I've missed you Nick."
"I've missed you too Angel."
We hugged and kissed for a few minutes. Let's just say after not seeing each other for awhile that kiss was so amazing. (Author's Note: use your imagination, but not like that! I know what your thinking!) After Heather and Dan dragged us apart, we went out to Dan's car. Him and Heather were in the front while Nick and I were in the back. We went to the movie theather and seen some movie. I didn't know what we seen because Nick and I were too busy making out. Hey, we missed each other. I just didn't like the part where the people in front us told us to stop because they had children back there. Ah, who cares, those kids will find out soon what we were doing, right? Exactly. Anyways, after whatever movie we went to, we went to the park and played on the swings. Nick and I shared one, while Heather and Dan had separate ones. Their no fun. No one else was there so that was cool. Plus it was late so I wouldn't have thought people would be there. We played on the swings for awhile and Nick and I went down the slides. Dan thought we were strange while Heather thought it was cute.Guys, right? Dan drove us back to Heather's house where we played some games. My fave....Spin the bottle. You ask why? Because Nick and I landed on each other both times!!! Dan landed on Heather and she landed on him. That was lucky, I would say. I didn't really want to kiss Heather or Dan! I had my Nicky. I was sad when they had to go, I wanted Nick to stay here. I knew he couldn't but I wish he could have. Oh well. We planned to see each other tomorrow. That night Heather and I talked about Nick and Dan. What do you think we were going to do? Go to sleep? No way! We stayed up all night and talked. I mean all night! About 1:20 the next day I left and went home. Yea! (note sarcasm) I would rather be anywhere else but home. I'm talking to my parents and stuff, but I hate lying to them.
"I'm home Mom."
The house was silent. No one was home. I went into the kitchen and there was a note on the counter.
Lisa,
I took Rick over to his buddies house. Going shopping and then over to your Aunt's house. Be back around 7. Dad will be home around then too.
Mom
Ok. No parents or little brother home for a whole day? Yes! I ran upstairs and called Nick. I told him and he came right over. Come on, no one is home. It's not like I'm throwing a party. Nick was over here in 20 minutes after I hung up with him.
"Hey," I said when opening up the front door.
"Hey yourself Lisa, he said. So, no one is here but us?"
"Yep."
"What if your Mom comes home early?"
"Nick, don't worry, she won't."
"Okay."
"So...what do you wanna do?" I asked him.
"Whatever you want to do."
"Nick, that doesn't help, but how about we go play some video games?"
"Oh Yeah!"
Nick and I played Mario Kart, race car games and Mario Brothers 3. Nick beat me on like everything but I enjoyed watching him win. He was cute.
"So, since I beat you on everything, which was fun, what do you want to do now?"
"How about we go outside?"
"Sure."
Nick and I went out to my back yard where I have this swing at. We sat down and I laid my head on his lap. He played with my hair.
"I miss being with you Nick."
"I miss being with you too Lisa."
"Why can't my parents just mind their own business?"
"Cuz their your parents. They want to look out for you. They think I'm some crazy psycho, but as long as you don't that's fine with me."
"I think your crazy, but not a psycho."
"I'm crazy all right, crazy about you."
I blushed and said, "Me too."
"Your crazy about yourself?" Nick said.
"Nick, you know what I mean." I playfully slapped him.
"Oh so you wanna fight, do you?"
When Nick said that, it meant I was going to be tickled. I was right. He started tickling me.
"Nick.....please.....stop!!"
"Nope, you started it."
"Hehee.....stop....Nick!....come..on.."
"Fine. I'll stop if you give me a kiss."
"Nope, you tickled me. I'm mad at you."
"Fine, then if I don't get my kiss I'm going to have to do this."
He started with the tickling again. I almost fell off the swing.
"Fine....I'll give you a kiss." And I did. We were kissing until we heard a door slam.
"Lisa, are you home?" It was my Mom. She came home early.
Nick and my face dropped.
"Nick, come on, will go around the house and get out of here," I said whispering.
Nick and I got up and ran around to the front of the house. It's a good thing Nick didn't park in the driveway. He parked a few houses down, just in case. It's a good thing he did. We ran to his car and hopped in. He started up the car and drove off.
"Lisa, I thought you said she wouldn't come home early?"
"How was I supposed to know that she would. I just figured she wouldn't."
"At least we got out of there. You would be in big trouble if we didn't."
"Yeah, tell me about it. Where are we going Nick?"
"I don't know. Hey, wanna go meet Brian?"
"I guess so. Where does he live?"
"About 15 minutes from here."
"Ok."
When we got to Brian's apartment, Nick parked, and we walked up to his. Nick knocked on the door.
"Hey Nick, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"Nice to see you too."
"And who is this lovely lady?"
"My girlfriend Lisa,"Nick said and pulled me close him.
"So, this is Lisa. Hi, I'm Brian," he said while putting his hand out for me to shake.
"Nice to meet you," I said shaking his hand.
"Come on in guys."
We went into his apartment. It was fairly clean except for some clothes on the floor.
"Sorry about the mess."
"That's ok, I said, Nick's room is even messier."
"Hey!" Nick exclaimed.
"So, what brings you guys over here?" Brian asked while picking up some clothes.
"Well, I was over Lisa's house...."Nick started.
"I thought you couldn't see her?" Brian interrupted.
"No one was home," I said.
"Her Mom wasn't supposed to be home until 7. We were out in her backyard when we heard her Mom yell. And we darted out of there."
"Close call, huh?"
"Yeah," Brian said.
We stayed over at Brian's for a little while and talked. We left around 3 o'clock. I asked Nick to drive me over to Heather's.
"Why?"
"She has to take me home Nick. My Mom thinks I'm over here. She doesn't know I'm with you."
"Okay."
We pulled up to Heather's and we got out of the car. I rang the doorbell.
Heather opened up the door to see me and Nick on her porch.
"What are you guys doing over here?"
"Long story."
Nick and I went inside and told Heather the whole story.
"So you want me to take you home, Lisa?"
"Well, if Nick took me home, my mom would see him and I would never see daylight again."
"Ooooh."
I got up and gave Nick a great big hug and kiss.
"I'll see you later Nick."
"Bye."
Nick walked out the door and to his car. After he left Heather and I talked for a little bit before she took me home. When we got to my house I thanked her for the ride and went inside.
"I'm home Mom."
"I'm in the kitchen honey."
I walked into the kitchen to see my Mom sitting at the table reading.
"Did you have fun at Heather's?"she asked.
"Yeah. Well, I'm going upstairs."
I went to my room and went online. Nick was on.

Angel0128n: My mom doesn't suspect a thing
HyperMan: that's good
Angel0128n: I wish I didn't have to lie though
HyperMan: I know
HyperMan: maybe you should just tell your parents
Angel0128n: what!?
HyperMan: your not 15 anymore Lisa, your going to be 17 in a week
Angel0128n: I know, maybe I'll tell them when school starts up again
HyperMan: I wish you would just tell them now, but I can't force you
Angel0128n: I will in time Nick
HyperMan: so..what are we going to do for you birthday?
Angel0128n: whatever you wanna do, just to let you know Heather is taking me out shopping that day for my birthday present
HyperMan: Oh okay, I guess I will surprise you then
Angel0128n: I like surprises
HyperMan: good =)
Angel0128n: mom's calling, ill see you later sweetie
HyperMan: later Angel
I got off and ran downstairs to see what my Mom wanted. She said she was going out for a little bit and she'd be back shortly. She ended up bringing my brother back because he had gotten sick. Good thing she came home early today for that reason. I went to bed early that night thinking whether or not I should tell my parents that I've been seeing Nick again. I decided against it. I fell asleep late that night.
