The next day at school......
"Hey Lisa!" said my friend Heather.
" Hey there! I replied. Whatz up with you?"
"Ah, not much. Just glad school's almost out for the summer."
"Yeah , tell me about it. Hey guess what?"
"What?"
"I met this really cool guy on the Net last night. His name is Nick and he lives in Ruskin."
"Really, how old is he?"
"17 and is so hot"
"He sent you his picture? I have to come over and see it."
"How about tonight?"
"Sure, that would be cool. Since it's Friday how about a sleepover? Would that be cool?"
"Yeah, I'm sure my parents won't mind. Plus Nick's supposed to be on tonight."
"You really like him don't you?"
"Yeah."
"Well, just don't go falling in love. Internet relationships don't work out."
"Will just see about that."
"Plus he's 17. Your 15. Your Mom will never let you date him. Especially he you met him online."
"If I don't tell her she'll never know."
"Lisa.....you don't plan on meeting this guy do you? He could be some weirdo.
"In time I want to meet him. He's a really nice guy."
"Well, Lisa I have to go to Biology so I'll see ya tonight. Bye."
"Ok, bye", I said while shutting my locker.
When I got home from school that day I raced up to my room and cleaned it up. Mom gave me permission to have Heather over tonight. I opened up my laptop and connected to the Net. I wonder if Nick got my picture? I logged onto the chat that Nick and I met in. he wasn't there but I did receive a message from him.
Hey Angel. Well, I just got outta school now. It's about 2 o'clock. See you tonight.
Dang. I just missed him. Oh well, I'll talk to him tonight. I checked my e-mail. Nothing new, but I did look at Nick's pic one more time. He's soooo fine. AH! Interrupting my thoughts, the doorbell rang. Heather was here. I ran downstairs and opened the door. Heather was on the front porch holding an overnight bag.
"Hey there girl! Come on in."
"Okay, I wanna go see Nick."
"Who's Nick dear?" my Mom asked.
"No one mom, just a guy from school."
"That was close Lisa."
"Yeah tell me about it."
We ran up to my room and Heather threw her stuff on the bed.
"Okay, I'm logged on. Let me get to my mail. Here it is. The one and only Nick Carter."
Heather's mouth dropped open.
"This is Nick? This is guy is a major babe! Meet him girl! Then give him my phone number!"
"I don't think so. This guy is mine."
"Can't we share? You have him one day a week and I get him the other six?"
"You think I'm insane Heather? No way!"
"Go see if he's on right now."
"I don't think he would be. He sent me a message about 2 so I don't think he's on. Were supposed to talk to each other tonight."
"Check anyway."
I checked but Nick wasn't on.
"Told you so."
"Whatever. Hopefully he'll be on tonight. I wanna see what you like about this guy other than his superstar good looks."
We spent the rest of the night doing each others hair and makeup. We did our nails and gossiped about guys and Nick. It was a lot of fun. After dinner which was at 6 o'clock we went upstairs to my room to see if Nick was on. He wasn't. I was disappointed and decided to get off, but right before I did Nick sent got on and sent me another message.
HyperMan: Your not leaving are you?
Angel0128n: I was until you came on.
HyperMan: So did u get my pic?
Angel0128n: Sure did
HyperMan: What'd you think?
Angle0128n: I can say it in one word....sexy
HyperMan: lol, never got sexy before
Angerl0128n: how could you not get sexy?
"Man, do you just come out and say it don't you?" Heather said.
"Yep"
HyperMan: well, I have but it never meant anything till I heard it from a pretty girl like you.
Angel0128n: *blushing*
HyperMan: lol
HyperMan: I know you want to get to know me better before we meet but would you please go to a movie with me tomorrow??
Angel0128n: tomorrow?
HyperMan: yeah
Angel0128n: I don't know..
HyperMan: Please, I'll come pick you up or we can meet there.
Angel0128n: I guess so...we can meet there
HyperMan: parents don't know about me right?
Angel0128n: yeah, plus I don't think they would wan't me going out with someone I met online
HyperMan: same here....only my buddies know about you
Angel0128n: you told your friends about me?
HyperMan: well, didn't you tell yours about me...?
Angel0128n: actually I did and one of them are here right now, Heather
HyperMan: so im that special, that you tell your friends about me...Hi Heather
Angel0128n: of course...and heather says Hi
HyperMan: so what movies do u wanna see?
Angel0128n: whatz playing?
HyperMan: umm.....Wild Wild West?
Angel028n: sure....i love will smith
HyperMan: cool then..how about the 7:30 show?
Angel0128n: that's fine =)
HyperMan: cool
Angel0128n: so are you really as sweet offline as you are on?
HyperMan: sure am
Angel0128n: then were going to have a great time
HyperMan: so are you as pretty offline as you are in that picture?
Angel0128n: you'll just have to wait and see.....
HyperMan: oh, a mysterious girl...i like that
Angel0128n: good thing then
HyperMan: so is your friend spending the night over there?
Angel0128n: yeah she is
"Maybe he has a twin brother and we can double tomorrow?" Heather said.
Angel0128n: she wants to know if you have a twin brother??
HyperMan: sorry, im the one and only.....but I do have a best friend.....
Angel0128n: how old is he?
HyperMan: 22..how old's Heather?
Angel0128n: she's 16, a little young for him...what's his name?
HyperMan: yeah I guess she is....his name's Brian
Angel0128n: is that who you told about me?
HyperMan: yeah, and my friends AJ, Kevin, and Howie
Angel0128n: wow, I feel so loved lol
HyperMan: you should........
Angel0128n: and why's that?
HyperMan: cuz your talking to me
Angel0128n: is that so?
HyperMan: sure is
Angel0128: well, I have to go now okay?
HyperMan: no that's not okay, but I guess I have to let you go
Angel0128n: lol, bye..see you tomorrow at 7:30....don't forget
HyperMan: believe me I won't...bye angel
Angel0128n: bye
I logged off the chat and turned around to see Heather asleep on my floor! I guess she was tired. Well, I'm going to have to wake her up.
"Yo, Heather.....wake up" I said as I shook her.
"I'm up."
"Good now you have to help me find something to wear for tomorrow.
"Can't we do that tomorrow morning?"
"Nope, gotta do it now."
"Fine."
Heather helped me pick out an outfit for tomorrow. We decided on some khakis and a green tank top. I think it looked nice to wear for my date with Nick.
"Now, Lisa, what's this guys name and where does he live just in case you don't come back from you date?"
"What?!"
"Just for safety since I'm the only one who knows about this besides you and Nick.
"I guess your right. Nick Carter and he lives in Ruskin."
"Ok. Thanks."
"Well, I'm tired Heather so I'm going to bed. G'Night."
Good-night Lisa."
It took me awhile to fall asleep but when I did I was out like a light. I had a dream about Nick and our date. I hope it turns out like it did in my dream.
