Chris Starks (lead vocals/guitar) grew up in St. Louis, MO in a very musical family. Starting out on the drums at age 12, he was given his father's 1977 Alvarez acoustic shortly after as a gift. Not realizing his full potential as a singer or songwriter untill he moved to North Carolina via the Air Force, Chris put an ad in the local music stores for a band and the rest is history. Influences include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Allman Brothers, Pearl Jam, Eric Clapton, and many more of the blues greats including B.B. King which he got to meet in the summer of '97. However; his most important influneces he claims are his Dad, aka; Doc Sweetwood (Blues Harmonica player), Uncle Rick, (Blues guitarist in OK), and last but not least, Grandpa Blackie Starks, (Country recording artist of the 50's)
Anthony Lanuto (Drums) grew up on Long Island NY where finding his true passion as a percussionist realized, at the age of thirteen, that everything in life has a rhythm. His influences include Led Zepplin, Pearl Jam, Dream Theatre, Greatful Dead, Alice in Chains just to name a few. His unique style also reflects the liberties he's taken as a self taught drummer and continues studies in Jazz, Latin, and eastern percussion...
