DimeStore Indian, The Modern rock of Fayetteville, NC

DSI, created in the summer of 1997 in the coffee houses of Fayetteville, NC is a four piece original modern rock band currently calling Charlotte, NC it's home and is quickly making groups of new fans in the area.
The band has gone through tough times and quite a few changes but, has triumphed through it all. With their first self released CD titled, 'Wooden Nickels' receiving airplay in Charlotte, Fayetteville, Wilmington, North Myrtle Beach, and Sanford, NC, and Orlando Fla, and Tucson, AZ... DSI has made quite a fan base of all ages and a familiar name throughout the region.

The music has been compared to bands like Pearl Jam, Creed, Matchbox 20, Far Too Jones, etc... and has gained fans of all ages.

In the year of 1999, DSI was approached to open for national greats such as The Black Crowes, Fuel, Second Coming, Molly Hatchett, Candlebox and there are rumours of a possible gig in the works with Hootie and The Blowfish (gigs TBA). DSI recently shared the stage with, national recording artists, The Hazies and with Mercury recording artists, CRAVIN MELON in Fayetteville, NC. and is currently preparing for another show with Cravin Melon on June 3rd.

DSI PRODUCTIONS in conjunction with area business owners and the musicians of Fayetteville, NC put together a benefit concert for the people of Honduras, known as the Honduras Hope Festival Feb 27th. All of the bands involved raised over $3,000 for the country of Honduras. Look for future events like this to happen...
