If they make a break for the middle,1 and 2 trap.This press is pretty good for stopping up the center court. You trap with press just like the 1-2-1-1 and in the usual places. See the 1-2-1-1 or the 1-3-1 for a better explanation or see the message board. |

On the left side,the 2 and 3 trap,while the 1 looks for a short center court pass.The 4 looks for the same,but can take away a short sideline pass while the 5 looks for any long pass,but defends the goal first.

If you can push the ballhandler to the right side,trap with your 1 and 4 against the sidelines. The 2 looks to take away any short pass to center court. The 3 looks to do the same but also any short sideline pass.The 5 looks for any long pass,center court or sidelines. If they want to pass backcourt,let them,but never give up a forward pass. |
