Playname : 2-3 offense

1 We had this used against us in the 6th grade once.We wanted to pressure the guards around the 3 point line and fill the lane so we tryed a 1-3-1 ,not a trapping zone,just a regular zone.

2 the point dribbled to the wing area,the 2 forwards went to the ballside corner/short corner.The 5 vcut across the lane

3 the point lobbed the pass to the open player for a shot

4 they also out-rebounded us with this as this was the first time we used this 1-3-1 defense

5 the 1-3-1 zone has several flaws.It is a poor rebounding zone defense and to attack it you must hit the open players in the short corners like they did here with the 4 player.Allways keep 2 guards up top against the defensive point.
