1 This is Option # 1....
have your 3 and 4 line up on free throw line expended about 3 point line. 2 stays back a step or two from 3 point line. |
2
1 passes to the 4,and breaks to the basket, lookinf for a return pass from the 4 about halfway down the lane.
3
say,the 1 was not open for a pass, the 5 also breaks down the lane`s edge after the 1,looking for a pass
4 |
5
if the 5 is open and get the pass, the 3 and 1 help rebound, while the 2 acts as a satety.
6 This is Option # 2...
If the 5 isn`t open, the 4 makes a "skip pass" to the 3 who quickly fires the ball to the 1 for the shot.

7
the 4 breaks in to help rebound too. You have 2 options here.If the 4 cannot hit the 1 as he/she breaks dowwn the edge of the lane, the 4 skips the ball to the 3 who quickly passes it to the 1.The 1 is open more than you would think in this case. The players need to pratice this and get the timing down and also execute it with cofidence. |
