I know that many of you already know the basics...
but here's a brief recap for those of you who just stumbled in.
I was born in Oklahoma, and I'm happy to report that I'm one of the
last baby boomers. In 1986, I followed a dream to live in
North Carolina and currently find myself raising 2 teenagers, and 5 pets.
During most of 1997 I worked out of my home as an international traffic
consultant for imports / exports, thus allowing me to surf the web
quite frequently. This has become my new addiction.
I've recently taken a real job outside the home working for APL
(American President Line) inhouse for Dupont. It's a great job,
but the only down side is I have to actually leave my house and
my computer! *ARGH* They do have internet service at my office,
but I'm afraid to even sign on, due to my recent addiction to the
net....*LOL* The other down side to this wonderful job is:
the dress code doesn't include bunny slippers and nightshirts
(something I came to love while working from my house...*giggle*)
I love working on homepages and have been getting real busy
helping out people who are just beginning to learn html.
The only problem is, they have all caught on quickly and have
now been winning all sorts of awards...*LOL*!! Guess I'll have
to apply for one someday? If you ever need help getting started on
these home pages, just put your lips together and whistle.
You do know how to whistle don't you? *LOL*
I've made So many friends while surfing the chathouse, it's really
hard to keep track of them all, but go to my link page
and find some of them listed there.
(if you're not there, and want to be, just let me know)
