Gaming Magazines- Now You're Playing With Power
Almost immediately after gaming blew back up again in the late 80's, magazines were there to provide coverage and strategy to the serious gamer. These are interesting to read for any collector, and often provide level maps, posters, advertisements, and strategies that can't be found anywhere else. It's interesting to look back at the rumors that were brewing at the time, and compare them to see how they actually turned out.
Like a lot of other stuff during this era, many magazines were tossed out or are lost in closets and attics. However, when found most of these magazines can be found for dirt cheap. A stack of old mags is a great compliment to any gamer's collection.
