July 1999 Current Events

07/31/99 - Neat - Crysania's getting bigger by the day - perhaps next week! Also, Shadoe should be having her litter around August 5 or 6, so we'll have several CP pups available in a while!

Today is tank cleaning day - at least I don't have 27 tanks to clean anymore - 8 gerbil tanks and 1 rat tank is enough, thank you! That still takes quite a bit of time, but I enjoy playing with all the gerbils (and the two rats, who are into everything!) while I change bedding, etc.

07/29/99 - Myst & Shadoe's three pups are so pretty. There's 1 F LCPGA and 1 M LCPGA (or they're LCPA), and the other female is solid white with black eyes and smokey grey points. Her tail's very dark, she has a smokey colored nose, ears and feet. I'm probably going to keep her, but as of yet I don't know what color she is for sure. After she molts (if she does), then I can get a better idea of her coloring. The LCPGA/LCPAs have been reserved already! :-)

Raistlin & Crysania are pregnant! Should have more colorpoint babies coming soon. Don't know when they mated, and unless she's just eating a lot, Crysania is 'firm' and getting bigger. I would think we should have more pups within the next two weeks.

Celes, Gawain's DTW/PEW mate, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 13. We will really miss her - she was such a sweet affectionate girl.

Myst & Shadoe had their very first litter on June 29, 1999. I am not sure what colors they will be yet, but keep checking!

07/09/99 - Update on pups - Myst & Shadoe's pups are such little butterballs! Right now the closest I can get as far as colors is LCP?? A male and female are CP greyish silver, almost like a Siamese pup looks when young. The other female remains a mystery to me - she's a CP, but white! Since I'm not really that familiar with the different LCP colors I'm going to have to wait a while to see what develops. They are really pretty, though.

Gawain & Celes are mating yet again - I don't know if they'll ever have any more pups!

Ulysses & Selene's pups are all so cute. See the Available Pups! page for their colors. I also still have their previous litter containing several grey agoutis and an ivory cream. Of course, right now it's too hot to ship anyway.

Raistlin & Crysania, grey agouti x siamese, have yet to mate that I know of. I keep checking her tummy to see if I missed something, but nooooo. I'm a little anxious about these two because they could produce so many LCP colors that I really want to see!

Rattie Jasmyn has the sneezes and I've got Ornacycline in their water now. No symptoms from Pikachu, so I guess she's okay. Well, the medicine couldn't hurt.

07/05/99 - Here I am, still updating my page in the early morning hours of a long weekend . . . guess it will be a constant thing until I get it the way I want it, though!

Myst & Shadoe's pups are big and healthy - they're doing a good job, though Myst still seems a little "mystified" sometimes by these strange little creatures! It looks as though there are two light ones, though obviously colorpoints, and one darker one - Siamese perhaps?

07/04/99 - Happy 4th! All of the pups are growing and doing well; I've added them all to the Adoptions! page, so please check it out and let me know if you want to adopt any of these pretty little critters.

Working on this new site too much, I think . . . headaches . . . and I'm staying up too late! It's coming along, though, and I think it'll be pretty good once I get finished. There are several links that aren't up just yet, though, and I've got to work on them.

And I'm still unpacking from my "move from hell" and it's getting discouraging! I do wonder if I'll ever get it all done! :oP

07/01/99 - Shadoe had her pups on Tuesday, June 29 - 4 BIG babies! We immediately lost one, but the remaining three are doing well and she and Myst have settled into being good parents. I'm thrilled and can't wait to see what colors they're going to be. Right now they're light with lightish-dark eyes. We'll see! :-)
