Healing Child Ritual
The instructions for the Direction Callers is included at the end of this section, along with the guided meditation. I sent out messages to any and all I could think of that might like to help in the Working. I enclosed the meditation and information on the time it would be taking place so they could all be a part, physically there are not.
Room set up:
Four large tables in the Directions, one smaller one in the center. One chair with arms, draped like a throne. A veil or square of cloth that is sheer and see through near by.
On the large tables (and on the Center one, although less), there should be set up many candles in many different candle holders. Participants can bring what ever they have from home. These candles represent all the other people who could not be at this place, but are in sacred space wherever they may be and sending us energy at the same time as the Ritual. The colors of the candles should be diverse as well. Do not group all the red ones on the South altar or all the yellow ones on the East altar. They represent individuals and groups that geographically lay in that direction.
There should be a an empty candle holder on each table for the directional candle that will come in later.
Smudge the area (or use a rattle or drum if there are allergic people), then all participants go to a room away from this one. While the room prep is happening, the one to be healed (here after called the One) should be away someplace.
When all is in readiness, two people, a woman and man preferably, but whoever seems right at the time, go to get the One. The One is asked if they are ready to go, then draped in a shroud that cannot be seen through and led into the room, which is totally dark. The One is taken to the throne, the shroud removed and the see through veil put in place over the One's head (note: it is important that the One can breath through this cloth easily).
The One is left alone for a time--short or long, whichever is appropriate. All gathered participants go over parts and jobs and any questions are quietly answered. When all is in readiness, the five Directional Candles are lit and all the participants walk in a line to the Ritual Room. It is important that the procession start from a distance, so the One will begin to hear the chant very softly, then louder as the participants get closer.
Ritual outline
Set up Room
The One is led in and left to meditate.
After a time, the participants process into the room, following the Direction Callers with their lit candles, chanting, very softly:
Air moves us
Fire transforms us,
Water shapes us,
Earth heals us.
And the balance of the wheel goes round and round,
And the balance of the wheel goes round.
Participants circle around, inside the Directional altars, with the One inside the circle. When each Direction Caller has placed their candle on their alter, everyone stops walking and chanting.
Directions are called
Circle is cast:
With our hearts and with our love for ___,
This circle is cast ans sealed.
So mote it be.
Leader:
It is written that:
Whenever ye have need of anything,
Once in the month,
And better it be when the moon is full,
Then shall ye assemble in some secret place and adore the spirit of me,
Who am Queen of all Witches.
Participants hold hands and circle the One slowly, chanting. In a little while, all reach out and lift the veil slowly from her while chanting:
I am a circle, I am healing you,
You are a circle, You are healing me.
Unite us, be one
Unite us, be as one.
When the chant ends, all sit around in tight circle with the One in the middle. Some may want to touch her during the meditation, others will want to sit close with out touching. All is "right." Some handle energies and direct them in different ways.
Meditation
Participants rise and spiral around the One. The spiral is led to circle the East altar, then the One, then the South altar, then the One, until all altars have been circled, including the Center and all the participants end up circling the One again while chanting:
Dear friend, dear friend,
Let me tell you how I feel,
You have given me your treasures,
I love you so.
The circle stops and all move in as close as possible to the One and place hands on her. The chant turns into toning, setting up a healing sound surrounding the One.
When the moment is right, the toning slowly fades.
IMPORTANT!! Ground the energy raised!! Give it to the One or let it flow back into the Earth, but do not think that you have not become a receptacle for an enormous amount of energy, because you have.
Directions are released
Circle is released:
By the Earth that is her Body,
By the Waters of her living womb,
By the Fire of her bright spirit and
By the Air that is her breath,
This circle is open, but unbroken.
May the Lord and Lady go in our hearts,
We merry meet, merry part and merry meet again!

Suggestions for Direction Callers:
We are working to bring energy from many areas and people to one single place--the One. Please create your direction call in the form of acknowledging all those in that Direction that are sending energy and verbally bring that energy from those people into the circle from that direction, while welcoming any Entities that you would like that are known for healing.
Also, please bring any candle holders you have. We will set up as many candles and holders as we can all over the edges of the room and when you call the direction, light all the ones in your quarter of the room. They will represent all the many others that are a part of our Ritual, but are not there.
We will use the partly used candles from the CTC LCS. Several times it has been pointed out that these candles are perfect for sacred use. Because they have been blessed at Imbolc (all CTC's candles are blessed at our Imbolc Ritual) and have been used to call and maintain sacred space already, they have absorbed quite an amount of good energy.
What better way to use them than for this Healing Ritual?
Meditation
Close your eyes and relax. Let thoughts that come to mind slip away.
Go into your Power State. That may be meditation, trance, or etc. Feel the Earth and her energy below you, filling you with unlimited power. Feel the energy pouring into you from above. You are filled with energy, with power.
Picture the Web in your mind. Points of individual lights as far as you can perceive, different colors and sizes. See the delicate threads that interconnect each of these points of light. This is the Sacred Web that we are all a part of.
Many points will be working parallel with you, feel them, see them, pick them out. Feel your connection to these beings. Experience the energies going back and forth.
It is time to turn your attention to the Working at hand. Find the point that is the One. See her as she is; standing straight and tall, a smile on her lips. The glow of health and vitality surrounds her, making her glow.
Send the One this energy you have gathered within you. Feel more energy and power come into you from Earth and above as you send out what is inside; the more you give, the more is renewed within you. (Very long pause)
We have bent the energies tonight, towards the One.
