Inspire us to visualize our personal Goddess tonight.

Dragons, fire drakes and salamanders,

Give us the courage to transform ourselves.

Make herb bags that embody characteristics/powers of each person's personal Goddess. These can be strewn around the home, put on a window sill, in house plants, burned, etc.

Local Goddess Meditation
Close your eyes and relax.
Take a deep breath, counting slowly to 4 and release it, feeling all the tension leave your body.
Take another breath, release slowly and still your mind as you breath out.
Take a third breath, deep, again. Ease your spirit as you release your breath slowly. (pause)
Go to your special place in your mind. A real or imaginary place where you are completely safe and can go back to instantly. (pause)
It is time to leave this place now. Walk out into the cool shade of a deep, dark forest. The trees sway in a gentle, cool breeze. You can smell the pine and the Earth. Leaves rustle quietly under your feet as you walk. Feel how the Earth welcomes your feet.
There is a small clearing ahead, with a soft layer of leaves. Sit down, make yourself comfortable here in this safe natural place. The wind still plays with your hair, the Earth is solid beneath you. Birds sing for you and a butterfly flits around you briefly before ambling off.
Think of your life. What concerns you with your job? Is it the way you want it to be? Don't let these thoughts bother you or upset you. Just recognize them... and let them pass. (pause)
What's happening now in your home? In your relationships? How would you like this part of your life to be? (pause) Again, see these feelings, and let them move across the screen of your mind and disappear.
What do you enjoy doing? Are there hobbies or projects that you want to do but cannot for lack of time, energy, or other blocks? Would you like to be able to spend more time with this area of your life? (Pause)
Where are you on your spiritual path? What history do you have here? (Pause) Where do you want to go? What are some of your spiritual goals? Let these thoughts cross in front of you like clouds in the sky. (Pause)
Think now of a Goddess. A new Goddess, one that is not yet known. A Goddess that can help you in your goals. Someone who is wise and beautiful. Powerful and gentle. What other attributes will She have? What characteristics will She have? What powers? What knowledge? (Pause)
What will your Goddess look like? (Pause)
What is her name? (Pause)
You have conceived of a new face of the Goddess. Your Goddess. One who understands you, your life, your needs and desires. One who can and will help you attain all your desires.
Now it is time to meet Her.
You become aware of a presence near the clearing. You are no longer alone here. There is movement in the trees, a figure comes to you.
It is Her. The Goddess you have just brought into being. Look at this magical, mystical being. As wondrous and divine as She is, She comes gracefully to you and knees in front of you.
Look into her eyes. Look deeply and realize the truth she represents, the truth she speaks to you. Listen to her wisdom, her sacred words. (Long pause)
Thank this being now. Thank Her for being, for coming to you, for speaking to you... But there is more.
She is not quite ready to leave yet. There is one more truth She must tell you. One more important mystery that you must understand.
Look deeply into her eyes again, and see... see the truth as she speaks it.
The final truth, the ultimate mystery is simply this; this Goddess who represents all the best qualities, all the most desirable attributes, the grace of sacredness, the power of the Divine... this Goddess is you.
Look again into her eyes and you know it is true. Embrace this sacred being, embrace this sacred part of yourself and feel the warmth and comfort of Her arms... your arms.. Hold you.
She become beautiful light, a prism of colors and you feel her slowly enter you... you absorb her into every pore, every organ, every part of yourself. She becomes a part of all that you are so easily... because this is where she came from... you... and this is where she has always lived... inside you. She has always been there and always will be... you are never alone because she is always there to guide and love you... to always remind you of the sacred woman you are and always have been.
Sit in this sacred clearing for a moment, feeling the glow of wholeness, of sacredness within you.
The wind still caresses you and you hear again the birds.
When you are ready, rise to your feet. Walk again down the path in the woods, feeling Mother Earth below you, supporting you. Go back to your safe place. Enter and sit down. Sit and think of your experiences.
When you are ready, come back to this garden. Come back to the Women of the Wild Moon Tribe, back to your sacred Sisters. Let us look at each other and see the sacredness within each other. And know at the same time that we are being seen as the sacred Goddess that we are.
