Hold a hand mirror up to a wall mirror. The mirror you hold is reflected into infinity, as far as you can see. Now turn around and hold the mirror up again; see your back and the hand mirror reflected into infinity. Turn around and look at yourself in the wall mirror. You are the pivotal point in time; from you, your spiritual physical line proceeds into the future; from you, your physical ancestral line reaches far back.
We will create sacred wands with the help of our ancestors, the hope of our spiritual progeny and the strength of our own spirit.
For you to exist, others experienced great adventures, hardships and joy to produce offspring. Touch some of these ancestor spirits of yours; celebrate their lives and their deaths that lead up to your very own existence. Be prepared to journey into the past and bring back unknown treasures.

“I am the product of an ancient and mysterious bloodline, I remember and honor _____.” Then they share what they feel like sharing about their journey.

Each person chooses a piece of amber for their wand, oil, incense and a ribbon in the color of their choice.
Journey into the future, to a troubled being to offer comfort and love.
When done, each person walks to the web and weaves their ribbon into the web (these are burned later in a sacred fire).
The group asks:
“Hail, fair traveler to the future, where have you gone and what adventure did you have?”
Each person responds:
“I continue through those who feel my spirit touch, and I send out ____ to the future.” Then they share what they will with the group.

Readings as each person is called into their individual meditation.
Word association;
When each reading is completed, there is a short silent mediation followed by each person writing on a piece of paper one word that the meditation gives them. Then each person says out loud what that word is.
When the last person has mediated privately, the “Charge of the Goddess” is read and the participants write down their last word. In the last round, each person reads all the words they have written.
