To open the show, the Rider's Gigolo came to the ring, flanked by Corey Edsel, who took a seat on the stage beside Fair Warning frontman Brian Hall, as Gigolo pulled a woman into the ring whom he called his "Gigette". In a shocking display, Gigolo attacked her and her brother, who rushed the ring, until Rob the Bull McBride made the save. Edsel ran in and they double-teamed McBride until Brian charged and the Redneck Pimp Daddies cleared the ring. McBride addressed the crowd before naming Randolph Hedrick the new joint RCW/NEW commissioner.
In the opening contest, Chaos and the Delinquent scored a big victory over the unusual pairing of Heartthrob Alan Rage and Mikael Yamaha. The two more experienced veterans couldn't really get their styles to mesh in their first tag team outing and were defeated by their rookie opponents in a big upset.
Up next was a three-way-dance between Redd, Ravishing Ritchie, and Rider's own Grease Monkey. Grease was hugely over in his stomping grounds and had his best outing in the ring yet by picking up the victory. Redd had several confrontations with referee Bradley North during the course of the match but in the end, took his eye off his opponents one time too many and was caught with a flatliner from Grease Monkey for the pin.
In a battle of NEW regulars, the first-time pairing of Damien Blade and Wild Thing Larry Isley defeated Knight Shift. The brothers Knight continue to wow crowds in every town they visit and pulled out several high-risk maneuvers throughout the contest. Blaze Knight appeared to be hurt after one such move and was down on the floor, being attended to by brother Ozz. This gave the big men the chance they were looking for to catch Ozz with a double chokeslam to pick up the win. Then, in a stunning turn of events, Isley's scheduled opponent, Wild Thing Tim Cheek rushed the ring and leveled Isley several times with a chair. Cheek could not get medical clearance to compete due to an injury and was believed to have still been in the hospital when he made his presence felt. Cheek and Knight Shift laid Isley and Blade out before Cheek then cut a promo proclaiming himself the one true Wild Thing in RCW. Isley however got back to his feet and the two men brawled throughout the building, taking out several security guards and even Cat Whitlow before Cheek was finally escorted from the building by Rider's bouncer the Grease Monkey.
Following that pier-six brawl, RCW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Solo came to the ring for his scheduled interview and proceeded to run down RCW and call out Rob the Bull. McBride made Solo a challenge, to put the RCW title on the line against Rob's NEW title in a special singles match right there and then. Commissioner Randolph Hedrick made it happen and we had an impromptu match for both belts. The end came when McBride went for a backdrop but Solo attempted a sunset flip (coincidentally the same move Solo used to surprise McBride with and win the RCW title back in August). McBride was ready for it this time though and cradled the legs of Solo for a three-count, to win both straps.
Fair Warning rocked the house at intermission, playing a full set of covers and original material. The same mysterious masked man from July was seen circling the ring several times during their performance.
Back from intermission, it was time for the NEW and ACWA Unified Tag Team Championships to go on the line as the $outh$ide Playas (tonight comprised of J-Money and Sweet Daddy) defended against Paco Loco and Cinnamon. Sweet Daddy used his power to his advantage several times, but Paco and Cinnamon countered at every turn with their quickness and teamwork. At one point, Cinnamon tried to powerbomb his own partner onto J-Money in a tandem move, but it back-fired, giving Money time to tag Sweet Daddy. Cinnamon was tossed from the ring and Paco ended up taking the 3P (the Playas Phat Phinish) for the victory as the Playas retained their titles. However, we would later learn that the champs would have to defend the belts just 48 hours at the Klick in Greensboro against Knight Shift in a return match stemming from the controversial finish in their match last week.
In the first of two main events, it was a six-man mystery partner elimination tag match, but with a twist added that no one expected. Corey Edsel and the Rider's Gigolo introduced their mystery partner as RCW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Solo. Solo demanded an opportunity to get his title back, so he made a proposition for Rob the Bull. If Bull would put his RCW and NEW titles on the line, Solo would put Corey Edsel's ACWA title on the line, winner take all. Edsel seemed none-too-pleased about that, but McBride and Hall made their way to the ring and McBride accepted the challenge. But Rob wanted to one-up it. He introduced HIS mystery partner, ECPW Heavyweight Champion Iceman Joe Storm! Storm then said he would put his title on the line also and the last man standing would walk out with all four belts. Commissioner Hedrick said that since this match was to be contested under the RCW jurisdiction, he had the authority to put all four titles on the line, but wanted to introduce a special referee, the Rider's Enforcer Hank. Brian started off with Corey Edsel, but made a rookie mistake early in the contest. The masked man reappeared and Brian chased him from the ring, but, in the process was counted out and thus eliminated, making it 3-2 in favor of Gigolo, Edsel, and Solo. The situation was only made worse after Iceman Joe Storm was pinned by Corey Edsel following a top-rope somersault senton (!) from the 300+ pounder. McBride was able to compensate somewhat by quickly eliminating the Gigolo following a Saturday Night Superstar, thus making it 2 on 1. Edsel and Solo worked over McBride for several minutes, tossing him out of the ring and onto the hard wood floor several times. Edsel rolled McBride back in the ring and charged him in the corner but the Bull moved out of the way at the last possible second and rolled up the big man for a quick pinfall. It was down to McBride versus Solo, RCW versus NEW, for FOUR Heavyweight Championships. The two waged a physical match for several more minutes until McBride nailed the Saturday Night Superstar. Rob had the titles won, but special enforcer Hank had been bumped just prior to the move. This allowed the masked man to sneak in, grab the NEW Title from the announce table and crack McBride over the head with it. He then placed Solo on top and revived the referee, who counted three. Kurt Solo made history and won the Heavyweight championships from four different promotions at the same time. After the match, Gigolo and Corey stormed the ring and they continued to beat on Rob until Brian and Storm made the save. However, all was not well in Rob's camp as both his partners clotheslined McBride. Solo had gotten to Hall, and Storm never had any allegiance to McBride anyway. Brian revealed a New Empire Wrestling shirt under his ring gear and then revealed that the masked man was McBride's best friend from high school, who Kurt had also convinced to sell The Bull out. Solo then said that he felt the four belts were weighing him down, so he gave the NEW National Title to the Gigolo. He awarded the ECPW Heavyweight Title back to Joe Storm, opted to keep the RCW Heavyweight Title, and then gave the ACWA Heavyweight Title to…Brian Hall?! Former champion Corey Edsel was in shock as he was passed over in favor of the rookie Hall in the eyes of Solo. Gigolo handed Corey brass knuckles and instructed him to issue the death blow to McBride, but instead, Edsel nailed Gigolo and Hall, before going after Storm and Solo. Rob the Bull left the ring dejected with his future in the wrestling business in doubt.
In the main event, Bam Bam represented RCW to collide with NEW's Bounty Hunter in a first-time meeting of the two biggest and baddest men in their respective promotions. Neither man showed any fear as they went at it for several minutes in a really good match of power versus power. Brian Hall reappeared on the stage and then went to the apron where he got the attention of referee Bradley North. With North preoccupied, Knight Shift, Johnny Suicide, Wayne Insane, and others from New Empire Wrestling jumped Bam. Bam's recently retired partner Crazyman stormed the ring from the crowd and the two Psychos for Hire cleared house. However, referee North turned around just in time to catch Crazy's involvement and awarded the match to Bounty by DQ. Bam Bam got on the mic after the match and challenged Bounty to step into a cage with him on the next RCW show. After some coaxing, Bounty agreed and the match is tentatively set for the next RCW event at Rider's. As always, stay tuned to the Independent Insider for more information on RCW and any future events.
