The Redwoods
Character Bio:
The redwoods are a race of living trees. The only two that are really given any special attention in the series are Redlen and Redsun. Redlen is the leader of the Redwoods. He speaks wisely and goes about doing things in the most logical way. He is very observant of those around him, and will occasionaly offer advice in a philosophical form. Redlen, along with the other Redwoods try to avoid fighting out of emotion. Redsun acts primarily as a scout, and is a little more enthusiastic about doing things.
Appearance:
The redwoods are brownish red logs with their arms, legs, and head attached to a rather block-like torso. Their size varies when disguised as tree stumps, but are about twelve feet tall after they extend.
Special Abilities:
The redwoods can disguise themselves as stumps of trees. Their bark is super strong and cannot be crushed. They also seem to be empathetic, being able to determine whether a being is good or evil by their aura and their thoughts. This was shown in The Evil That Lies Within, when they spared Liquidator’s life, since his aura and thoughts were good and pure.
Weaknesses:
Anything that will harm trees will hurt them. They are also slow runners because their legs are positioned awkwardly on the sides of their body.
