My Favorites

So you enjoy a good classic novel, too? If you agree, or disagree, or would like to tell me about a book you have read email me anytime! I always love talking about a good book!

My favorites have to include:

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
When I first read Jane Eyre I read it in one week, I read it at work, at home, even when I was on the computer! I guess knowing nothing about what would happen between Rochester and Jane (I knew they married, but how their relationship developed, I remained clueless.) was what did it. She wrote the book in such a way that can only capture the reader's attention!

Villette by Charlotte Bronte

Oh, my! After the first page, I was drawn to the book. It is a wonderful story! Lucy Snowe is an amazing character, and the ending will knock your socks off for sure! I highly recommend this book!
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
Oh, this book I can read over and over and never get sick of it! Victor Hugo's writing is so moving. His characters are so captivating. Especially, Jean Valjean. At the end of this book, if you have a dry eye, I will be in awe!
The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo
This book was so incredibly depressing, but the end was absolutely amazing! If you've seen the Disney movie, you've seen less than 1/4 of the book.

Emma by Jane Austen
Oh! What a wonderful book! The characters are easy to love, and the story is delighful and funny. I loved the movie even more with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeremy Northam!
