DO THEY REALLY COUNT?
They went to fight in an unpopular war.
The death toll began to mount.
Do they really count?
Some were brought home and laid to rest.
They said the others were P.O.Ws or M.I.As that was just a guess.
Do they really count?
The parents, wives, and children keep wanting to know
If they're still alive, why don't they let them go?
Do they really count?
We want our leaders to ask once more,
Give us back our brave men who fought this war.
You don't need them any more.
Do they really count?
Some of our leaders say we may never know.
Others say just let it go.
Our worst fears begin to mount.
Are they tring to tell us that they really don't count.
