You can also ask your Education Center at your Air Force Base or Army Post or the library in your community to proctor the Examinations for the above FCC licenses for you. You need to give the proctor's name, address, and telephone number to Electronic Technicians at (765) 653-4301 or (765) 653-8262 and they will mail the tests to your proctor. As of July 19 2001, a minimum fee of $50.00 is required which allows you to take two elements (tests) at one sitting. An additional test taken for the same sitting can be obtained by paying an additional $25.00. Check with Electronic Technicians for any rate changes. Press Here if you want to use a different organization to handle your FCC tests.
The Veterans Administration might pay for active duty soldiers with GI Educational benefits for the costs of the tests. Check with your Education Counselor at the Fort Bragg/Pope AFB Education Center before taking the tests and press here in order to find out more about the VA paying for your certification tests.
