Nick sighed. "Alright then, if that's what you want," he said. "Am I spending the night?"

"If you want," she said.

"Yeah, I guess," he said, taking off his jeans and shirt. They layed down beside each other.

Meggie leaned over, and kissed his forehead. "Thanks for understanding," she said.

Nick nodded his head and lifted his hand to adjust the covers, when he put it back down, it was on Meggie's thigh. They both gasped but didn't make an effort to move.
