Chapter 7

"So Nick, what the hell is so important about your dream?" Brian asked, flopping down onto Nick's bed. He looked at Nick, waiting to find out what had went on.

"I never had one like it before," Nick said, smiling, as he remembered his interesting dream once again. "It involved myself myself, Meggie, and alot of tongue."

"Finally! You made all of us wait forever," Bri said, sighing, not seeming at all surprised.

"Bri...I don't know what to do about it. God Frick, she looked so beautiful in my dream. So damn beautiful. Everything was so right. Hugging her, kissing her, everything," Nick said, dreamily. He closed his eyes, hoping to relive his dream.

"Well Kaos, there's only one thing you can do... tell her," Bri concluded, folding his hands together.

"I can't Bri. We were talkin' about it yesterday and, she said it'd be too weird. What if she turns me down? I wouldn't be able to stand the humiliation. She's my best friend. I can't, no, I won't ruin that," Nick complained. "Could you tell her for me?"

"How old are you? Geez Nick, be a man. You have to tell her yourself," Bri said. "She's definitely not gonna think too much of you, if you have to have me tell her how you feel."

"Oh yeah. I'll just casually bring it up in conversation. 'Hey Meggie, how's it goin'? Oh, did I mention I love you?' Yeah right!" Nick said, sarcastically.

"You love her?" Bri asked, surprised. He knew Nick had deep feelings for her, but he never knew he loved her.

"No, I guess not. She is my best friend. I do love her that way. But, that's all. But, I do like her, and I know I can develop those kinda feelings for her. I just know it," Nick confessed.

"Well man, you gotta tell her. You finally realized your feelings for her, so you have to let her know. You 2 are perfect for each other. I've never before seen two people who were made for each other like you guys are. You may not love her yet, but you will eventually," Brian said, kindly.

"You're right. I'll try and tell her today. But right now, lets go swimming," Nick said, grabbing his trunks, and heading to the bathroom.
