Best Kiss! Chapter 6!
"Say what?" Meggie asked, her eyes bugging out of her head."You heard me. I asked if I could kiss you anyways," Nick said, grinning.
"Oh, well, I...umm...oh God," Meggie said, not knowing what to say.
"Do you love him?" he asked, suddenly.
"I dunno. We haven't really been going out for that long. I care about him, that's for sure. But no, I don't love him. Not yet anyways," she said, rambling on.
"Oh, where is he now?" he asked, quietly.
"He lives in New York," she said.
"Ooh, long distance relationship's don't work, don't 'cha know? You should really get with someone closer to where you live," Nick hinted.
"Your not gonna give up, are you?" Meggie asked, smiling.
"Nope, sorry. I have no intentions of doing that. My mom always told me to fight for what I wanted, and right now, that's you," Nick said, sweetly.
She blushed madly. "Nick, this isn't right," she said.
"Yeah, and looked what happened to them. Jack died, and Rose married someone else," Meggie said.
"They just didn't try hard enough. If Rose hadn't jumped off the little boat, Jack would have been the one on that piece of ship," Nick said.
"That's not fair! She loved him," Meggie said, almost screaming.
"And, I love you," he said, softly.
"You don't even know me!" she exclaimed.
"Well, I'd like to get to know you," he said.
"AHH, YOU'RE DRIVING ME INSANE," she screamed.
He silenced her with a kiss. Once they pulled away, Nick spoke. "I knew that would keep you quiet."
