Falling for Popularity! Chapter 8!
~1 Month Before the Camping Trip~I was on my way to the assembly for all the grade 12 students. The principle was to announce something about the upcoming camping trip.
I sat down inbetween 2 of my friends; Shelby and Tommy, waiting patiently for the assembly to start.
I had tried to talk to Nick many times about what Ryan had said, but each time he acted as if I wasn't even there. I was able to talk to Morgana though. She knew Ryan was lying, but she couldn't convince Nick. She even got Brian to try, but nothing worked.
I saw Nick sit down a couple rows ahead of me. I thought back to that one kiss a couple months ago. The one kiss that meant the world to me.
The principle's voice interupted my thought's as the assembly began.
"As I am sure you all know, the camping trip is only a month away. Since the school is paying for you, myself and the staff think it is only fair you give something back to us. 'How do I do that?' all og you are probably wondering. Simple. You become a camp counseller. A male and a female will be assigned one single cabin, to look after 5 males, and 5 females, ranging in ages from 9-12. The cabin's will consist of 3 bedrooms, two bigger then the third. The bigger ones are for the children, and the smaller one for two of you. Also their will be a bathroom, with a sink, shower and toilet. The children are coming from all across Ontario, Canada. You will find out the rest of the information tomorrow, during first period," he concluded, and with that, he left.
~The Next Day - First Period~
Our teacher had just started handing out the sheets, giving out information we needed for the trip.
After a short weight, he handed me mine. I would be staying in Cabin 38. I scanned the sheet for the male I was paired up with. After finding it, my eyes widened. I wasn't exactly sure how to react to this. I was rooming with Nick!
