Good Things Can Come From Accidents! Chapter 2!

10 minutes later, Meggie heard Nick singing 'Faith', by Limp Bizkit, really loudly, and in a really high voice.

"Oh my, this is going to be a very long night," she said, to herself, sighing. She quickly got up, and hurried to his bedroom. "Nick, shut up. You're gonna wake up BJ," she said, covering his mouth with her hand.

He removed her hand, and started talking to her. "Meggie, could you call me Fred from now on? I wanna be just like him," he asked.

"Yeah, sure Ni-, I mean Fred," she said, correcting herself. "Why don't you try and get some sleep?"

"Maybe later. Could you give me a massage?" he asked, rolling onto his stomach.

"Sure," she said.

"Mmm, higher. Over. Wrong way. Oh yeah, that's the stuff," he said, then burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" she wondered, laughing a bit herself.

"I dunno. I just love how your bare hands feel on my skin," he said, whispering.

"Is that the drugs talking?" she wondered.

"I dunno. But, I'd like to think it's not," he said.

"I think I'm gonna go back to my room now. You need some sleep," she said, as she got up.

"No, don't go. I'll start singing again," he threatened.

"Nick, I'm beginning to think the drugs aren't effecting the way you act, and you're just taking advantage of them," she said, accusingly.

"What do you mean?" he asked, confused.

"I mean, the drugs aren't making you act this way, but your saying they are anyways," she told him.

"What would you say if I told you the doctor told me that the drugs wouldn't have any effect on me?" Nick asked, looking at her intensly.

"Umm, well, I'd," she said, studdering.

"You'd say what?" he asked, grabbing her hand.

"I'd say-," she started, but was interupeted by Nick's sudden explosion of laughter. "Nick, shut up!"

"I asked you to call me Fred. You know why?" he said, raising his eyebrows.

"No, why?" Meggie asked, sighing.

"Because, I'm a freak on a leash. Oops, wait. Wrong group. I have faith, that's why, uh huh," he said, nodding his head violently.

"Ok, well Fred's gonna hafta have a little faith in sleep," she said, pulling the covers up over his body.

"K, on one condition though," he said, holding up 3 fingers.

"What?" she asked, annoyed.

"You have to, gotta, must, call me Fred tomorrow," he said, whispering 'Fred' over and over again to himself.

"Ok Fred, good-night," she said, turning off the light, finally escaping.
