I'll Always be There! Chapter 6!
Towards the end of the movie, Meggie got tired, so she rested her head on Nick's shoulder.He smiled happily and draped his arm around her shoulders. "Don't fall asleep on me," he said, shaking her gently.
"I won't," she assured him.

"That was a killer movie," Nick said, once the movie was over.
"I'm glad you liked it," Meggie said, getting up.
'I'm gonna tell her tonight,' Nick thought to himself.
"C'mon, I'm tired. Let's go to bed," Meggie said, dragging him upstairs.
Once they were in Meggie's room (Yes, they sleep in the same room. They've done that since they were younger.), she went to pull down the blankets. "Ow, shit," she said, moaning in pain.
"What's wrong?" Nick asked, rushing to her side.
"I dunno. I just got this sudden pain in my neck," she said, cringing.
"Sit down. I'll give you a massage," he said, sitting behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders, shivering. "How does that feel?" he asked.
"So much better, thanks," she said.
"Anytime. You know what I have never told you before?" Nick asked. Suddenly, it hit him. He couldn't tell her. There was no was he could find the courage. At least not now.
"What's that?" she asked, facing him.
'Oh God, what do I tell her?' Nick thought.
~*Flashback ~ 1992*~
"Thanks for walking me home, Nicky," Meggie said.
"Meggie, umm, will you be my girlfriend?" Nick asked his best friend, awkwardly, his voice cracking.
"Yes Nicky, I'll be your girlfriend," she said, smiling. "Goodnight." She leaned over, and planted a kiss on his lips. His first kiss.
'Oh God, what do I say?' Nick thought. "Good night, babe," he said, taking off.
