I'll Always be There! Chapter 7!
"What haven't you told me, Nicky?" Meggie asked, snaping him out of his trance."Oh, that you were my first kiss," he said, smiling.
Meggie smiled back at him. "Why didn't you tell me that before?" she asked.
"I don't know. I was embarressed, I guess," Nick said, blushing. "Most of my first's were with you, though."
"Aww, that's sweet," she said, rubbing his cheek. "You were my longest relationship. 2 years."
"Meggie, why did you brake up with me?" Nick asked, quietly.
"I thought you didn't care about me, so I ended it before you could," she told him.
"Meggie, who could you say that? I loved you!," he confessed. He wanted to rephrase his last sentence. He wanted to tell her he loved her ever since then, but he kept his mouth shut.
"Well, gee thanks for telling me," she said, sarcastically.
"Yeah right, so you could give me a black eye?" he asked.
"Why the hell would I give you a black eye?" she asked.
"I dunno. That's what you used to do when I said things you didn't want to hear," he said, laughing a bit. "Like the time I told you you were the prettiest girl in the world. You knocked me on my ass."
"Nick, I wanted to hear you say that. I would have told you I loved you, too," she said, happily. "C'mon, let's go to bed."
"Alright," he agreed.
"Night Nicky," she said, hugging him good-night like she always did.
"G'night hun," he said, kissing her cheek. Meggie felt a spark. A spark she didn't know existed between her and Nick. They layed down without another word, and went to sleep.
