*Chapter 2*

After ordering and sitting at a booth, Nick said; "Now, will you two please try and contain yourselves? I really don't want to throw up all over the place."

"If we must," Meg whined.

After eating, they went back home to decide what to do for the rest of the night. "I say we go clubbin'. Ya know? Get the whole crew and just go," Meggie suggested.

"Sounds good to me. What about you guys?" Meg asked.

"'Ight," they both agreed. Meggie got up, and called everyone, which was Andrea, Amy, Daniel, Steve, Kelly, James, Carrie, Sara, and Amanda. They all met up at Impaxx.

"You guys, this is my boyfriend Brian Littrell, and his best friend Nick Carter. Guys, this is Amanda Warr, Sara Solfer, Carrie Soyer, James Martel, Kelly Nollom, Steve Jerry, Daniel Hayed, Amy Holtin, and Andrea Golt," Meg introduced.

"Hey Blondie, wanna dance?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah sure," Nick answered.

Meggie felt a bit jealous, but shook it off. "You should have made your move," Meg told her.

"Oh, and why is that?" Meggie asked.

"Don't play dumb with me. Before you found out I was going out with Bri, you were in love with Nick, And now, suddenly you don't care," Meg said.

"Well," Meggie said, speechless.

"Yep, damn straight woman. That's what I thought," Meg said. "Now go and ask him to dance."

"NO, WE'RE JUST FRIENDS. THAT'S ALL," Meggie screamed. "C'mon Steve, let's dance." She grabbed his collar, and pulled him onto the dance floor, choking him.

"Can we continue this dance later? I have to talk to Meg," Nick asked.

"Yes, if you want," Kelly said.

Nick slowly walked away to find Megan. "Hey, did you talk to her?" he asked, when he found her.

"Yes, I did. She said she only likes Nick as a friend," Megan said.

"Damn it," Nick cursed, silently.

"But...I'm her best friend, and I can always tell when she's lying. She was big time. You two have alot in common. She knows that, but for some reason, she's afraid to admit it, even to herself. So, maybe you should just tell her that you like her, too," Meg said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Where is she?" he asked, looking around.

"Uhh, she's dancing with Steve, but only because you were dancing with Kel," Meg said, quickly.

"Then I'll just wait till she's done," Nick said.

"Just go interupt them," Meg said.

"No, that's rude," Nick told her.

"Fine then. Ill do it for you," she said, walking away. Nick tryed to stop her, but it was too late. Meg came back a minute later with Meggie. "NICK WANTS TO TALK TO YOU," she screamed over the loud music. "ALRIGHT," Meggie agreed, screaming back. Nick grabbed her hand and led her outside.

"That's better," he said. "Sorry about Meg interupting you. I didn't ask her to."

"That's alright. Didn't bother me," Meggie said.

"Anyways, uhh...I just...umm...wanted to tell you that...umm...I really...uhh...like you," he said, his face turning red.

"You what?" Meggie asked, surprised.

"I like you," he repeated.

"I'm sorry Nick but I gotta go," she said, getting up and running to the car. She sped away.

Nick sat there for a few minutes before going back in. He walked up to everyone.

"How'd it go?" Meg asked.

"She ran away," Nick said, quietly.

"Oh, Nick, I'm sorry. I'm sure she'll come to her senses soon," Meg said, supportively.

"Yeah, well I'm gonna go," he said.

"We'll go with you," Bri said. They decided to walk home, 'cause Meggie had the car, and besides it was a beautiful night.
