*Chapter 4*

The next morning, Meggie was very confused. "What the..? I could have sworn I fell asleep on the couch," she mumbled. She made her way downstairs to get some coffee. She found Meg, Bri and Nick in the kitchen.

"Why is everyone so quiet?" Bri asked.

"You're not supposed to talk to Meggie until she's had at least 1 cup of coffee," Meg explained.

"Not a morning person?" Nick asked.

"Definatly not," Meg said.

Meggie walked ou tof the kitchen, and came back when she was done. "All done," she said, as the phone rang. "Hello? Oh, hey Kel. Yeah, he's here. Sure, hold on," she said, into the reciever. "Nick, Kelly's on the phone for ya."

"Kelly? What does she want?" he asked, surprised.

"Say hello to find out," she said.

He took the phone. "Hello?...Fine, and you?... That's good....Tonight?...Uhh, I don't think so. Sorry...Alright, bye," he said, hanging up.

"What did she want?" Bri asked.

"Oh, she just wanted to know if I wanted to do something tonight, but I said no," Nick said, sipping his coffee.

"Why'd you say no?" Bri asked.

"BECAUSE BRIAN, I WASN'T INTERESTED," Nick screamed.

"Alright Nick, calm down," Meggie said. "Go up to my room, and play Nintendo."

He grunted then walked upstairs.

"Meggie, sit down, we need to talk," Meg said, as Meggie sat across from her. "Why'd you do it? Why'd you turn him down?"

"Because, I wouldn't be able to handle it. Say the first date goes good, and the second and third, and so on. Then we officially become boyfriend and girlfriend. Things are getting good, when he gets a call saying he's going on tour for 6 months. It just wouldn't work," Meggie said, waving her hands frantically.

"But, you do like him?" Bri asked.

"No, not really. I think he's a sweetie pie, and good looking, and charming, and polite, and funny, and nice, and cute, and fun to be around, but no, I dont like him," she concluded. "So Bri, where would you like to go today?"

"Sightseeing," he said, excitedly.

"Sounds good to me," Meggie said. "I'll go ask Nick." She walked upstairs to her bedroom. "Hey what'cha doin'?" she asked.

"I'm playin' South Park, and I'm kickin' ass," he said, like Cartman.

Meggie laughed. "Everyone's decided we go sightseeing today. Is that alright with you?" Meggie asked.

"Yeah, that's fine with me," he said, hardly paying attention.

"Alright then, get ready so we can leave," she said, grabbing a change of clothes.

"Sure," he said. "Yes, I killed him."

Meggie laughed as she left to shower. Nick played one more game then got ready.
