Secrets and Lies! Chapter 6!
"Ow, stop, please Meggie, stop," Nick screamed in pain."Nick, you asshole. I can't believe it was you. Stupid perv," Meggie said, dropping his arm.
"Hey, it was just a joke. I wanted to see who you'd react," Nick said. "I'm really, truely sorry. Forgive me?"
"No," she said, wrapping her arm around his waist.
"I can live with that," he said, realizing Meggie wasn't really mad. He put his arm around her shoulder.
Once the got out, Meggie was shaking badle, and her legs felt so weak. She leaned on Nick, who was standing behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist. They stood their, deciding where to go next.
"I don't wanna go to 'Ripley's Believe It Or Not'," Nick whined. "I'm hungry."
"Too bad for you, Nicky," Bri said.
"I'll go with you," Meggie offered, resting her hands over his own, entwining their fingers. Meggie wanted to let go, but she cared too much for him already.
"Thanks," he said, not exactly sure what she was thinking.
"Alright then, meet us at Burger King when you're done," Meggie said. She grabbed Nick's hand as they walked to the fast food resterant.
"Uhh, Meggie? You are really confusing me, you know that?" he said.
"How so?"
"The way you're acting today is totally different from yesterday," he said.
"I know. I like you alot but, I don't think it's be fair to either of us if we got into a relationship we both want," Meggie said.
"You could tour with us. Bri was gonna ask Meg, so we were gonna invite you too," he said.
