Screams of Anger, and Tears of Betrayl! Chapter 1!

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THAT TO ME. YOU TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME," Meggie Sayer screamed at her boyfriend of 3 years, Nick Carter.

"I do love you. I didn't mean to kiss her," Nick said.

"Oh, don't feed me that shit. Lying won't help the situation. I am so sure you're lips just magically met hers," Meggie said, tears streaming down her face.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I am so so sorry. I don't know what else to say. I just felp so lonely. You just don't know what it's like to be away from you all the time," Nick said.

"ACTUALLY NICK, YES I DO. REMEMBER? I'M HERE WAITING FOR YOU. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT'S LIKE, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M GONNA FIND SOME CHEAP HO TO SCREW," she screamed.

"I didn't scrrew her. I only kissed her once. Please, I don't want this to ruin what we have," Nick begged, tears streaming down his face now also.

"You think that I care that you only kissed her once? What matters is that you did kiss her. You could have called me and I would have flew up for a few days," Meggie said, mad. "I can't believe you would throw away 3 years for a kiss."

"But the kiss meant nothing, absolutly nothing," Nick said, trying to grab Meggie's hand.

She snatched it away, and took a seat on the sofa. He sat down beside her "If it meant nothing, then why the hell did you do it?" Meggie asked.

"I already told you, I was feeling lonely," Nick said.

"How many times do you feel lonely? Do you run to girls then? How many girls have you kissed, Nick?" Meggie asked.

"Only her," Nick said.

"WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE YOU? YOU COME HOME, PRETENDING LIKE NOTHING IS WRONG. YOU HAD NO INTENION OF TELLING ME WHAT WENT ON. BJ HAD TO TELL ME. YOUR OWN SISTER," Meggie said, screaming at the top of her lungs. She grabbed the vase of flowers that Nick had borught home for her, and threw it against the wall. Pieces of glass flew everywhere, and stems and flower petals fell to the floor. She started to scream at him, but he was not able to make out the words.

"Baby, baby, calm down," Nick said. He grabbed her shoulders and held her close as she cried on his shoulders.

"Why would you do this to me? We were gonna be together forever," she said.

"Honey, we are gonna get past this. Couples got through problems much worse then this, but 20 years later they are happily married and celebrating one of their many anniversaries. I still love you, and I want to work this out," Nick said. It seemed as if he was almost begging.

"Yeah, and what if I don't want to work this out?" Meggie threatened.

"C'mon baby, you don't mean that. You're just angry, and I don't blame you. Just tell me what to do to make things right, please? Tell me what do to to heal your pain. You know how much I hate seeing you in pain. I hate it even more knowing I caused the pain that is flowing through your body," Nick said, kneeling in front of her, and grabbing her hands.

"You want to make the pain go away?" she asked, through clenched teeth.

"Yes, more then anything," Nick said, softly.

"Then leave. Just leave me alone," Meggie pleaded.

"But-," Nick started to protest.

"Nick, please? If you love me, you'd do that for me. I'm not asking that you walk out of my life and never return, I just want you to give me some space. Some time to think," Meggie said, trying to sound reasonable.

"Alright, I do owe you that much," Nick said.

"You owe me alot more then that," Meggie said, quietly so Nick wouldn't hear. She escorted him to the front door.

He picked up his suitcases that he had left in the front earlier. He leaned over and gently brushed his lips against Meggie's tear stained face. "I love you," he whispered in her ear, sending chills up and down her spine. "I'll call you during the week?" he said, more as a question. Meggie nodded her head. "Ok," she squeeked.
