Meggie woke up to movement beside her, but she kept her eye's closed. She felt an arm wrap around her waist, and someone breathing in her ear. Then she heard a soft soothing voice, singing a song. She reconized the song right away. She opened her eyes once he was done singing. "That was beautiful, Nicky," she said. She brushed away the hair that had fallen into his eyes.
"Baby, tell me what to do to get you back. You know how much I love you, so why are you making this so hard? What do you want me to do? Announce to the world how much I love you?" he asked. He quickly got up from the bed and made his way downstairs.
Meggie sighed. "What are you doing?" she asked him, before she exited her room.
"Follow me," he called, hurrying down the stairs.
Meggie got up and followed. "Where exactly are we going?" she asked.
"You'll see," he said, grabbing her hand, and dragging her out the back door. He led her out onto the beach.
"Nick, look at what I'm dressed in, are you crazy? There's people everywhere. Your hair's out to here," she said, indicating with her hands how big Nick's fro was.
"Shh, that doesn't matter. There's alot of people out here," Nick said, looking around him.
"I believe I already pointed that out. What is your point?" she asked, wondering what he was up to.
"Hey everyone, can I please have your attention?" Nick called.
"Ohmigod, what are you doing?" she hissed at him. She tried to walk back to the house, but Nick grabbed her waist, so she was facing everyone. Everyone's eyes were on them.
"This is my girlfriend. The woman that I love. If I wanted to explain to you just how much I care for her, we'd be here forever. She's my sun, my moon, my star's, my everything. She's the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think of before I go to sleep. But, I made a mistake , and she hasn't forgivin me yet. It's only been a few days, but it seems like it's been forever. I'm telling you this in case I lose her. Never ever give up the one the love, cause you'll whole world will come crashing down," he said, turning to her. "Baby, I love you. And I'd wait forever, but you're killin me, and I don't know what to do anymore." He had tears streaming down his cheeks. Normally, he'd be ashamed to cry in front of so many people he didn't know, but this was for his girl. He would cry in front of anybody for his girl.
Meggie smiled at him. She cupped his face in her hands, and then kissed him passionatly, as everyone on the beach cheered. He buried his face in her hair, crying tears of joy. He had her back, now he could continue living his life.
"You'll never lose me, baby. I love you so much," she said, carassing his cheek delicatly with her hand.
"It is so good to hear you say that," he said, squeezing her tighter.
"Let's go inside, babe. We need to talk," she said.
"Good talking or bad talking?" he asked, worried.
"I'll let you be the judge of that," Meggie said, sounding a bit worried herself.
"Alright, c'mon." He took her hand, and walked with her inside. He grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. "Ok, so talk," he said.
"Sit down, and give me that," she said, taking the open bottle out of his hands. He sat down at the kitchen table. "K, I found out a couple weeks ago, that I'm, umm...I'm...we're going to...have...a baby," she said, her hands shaking, violently. She was so mervous about how he was going to react.
"We're, oh my God, we're gonna have a baby?" Nick asked, his eyes wide with surprise.
She nodded her head and closed her eyes.
"We're gonna have a baby," he said, jumping and scooping her into his arms. "We're gonna have a baby."
"You're happy about this?" Meggie asked, pulling away surprised.
"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" he asked smiling.
"Because, you're young, and you still have a career to deal with," she said. "And, I'd give it all up for you," he said, sweetly. Meggie smiled smiled at him as the phone rang.
Nick got up, and answered the phone. "Hello?...Oh, hey B-Rok...Oh, what now?...When?...Yeah, I'm gonna ask her...Yeah, we did...Yeah, could ya, please?...K, thanks. We got somethin to tell ya when you come...Alright, see ya," he said, hanging up the phone.
"Brian?" Meggie asked.
"Yeah, I've got something to ask you. Bri told me that we have another tour to go on in 2 weeks. I know this is alot to ask, but I want you to quit your job, and come and tour with us. Please sya yes," Nick begged.
"Nicky, what about the pugs? Do you expect them to take care of themselves?" Meggie asked.
"We can bring them. Bri's bringing Tyk, and Meg's goin' too. Please, come," he said.
She smiled at him. "Anything for you," she said.
Nick was truely happy. No more screams of anger. No more tears of betrayl. He had found the way back to her heart.
