Wanting the Unwanted! Chapter 2!

"Guys, I'm home," Nick said, calling into his huge house.

"We're in here," a voice called from a different room.

"C'mon," Nick said, leading Meggie. "You guys, this is Meggie. She's gonna be staying with us for a bit. Meggie, these are the idiots I share a house with. That's Brian, my best friend, Kevin, his cousin, AJ, the weird one, his best friend, Howie, his girlfriend, Brooke, and her best friend, Heather," Nick introduced.

"You guys all live together?" Meggie asked.

"Yep, it's a big house," Bri answered. "Ya know, you look so familiar? What did Nick say your name was again?"

"Uhh, you probably reconize me, because I'm the princess," she admitted, sounding ashamed.

"NICK, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING BRINGING THE PRINCESS BACK HERE?" AJ screamed. "YOU ARE GONNA GET US IN SO MUCH SHIT, MAN. I KNEW YOU LIKED HER, BUT I NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D KIDNAP HER. I am so sorry, ma'am," he apoligized.

Meggie burst into laughter. "He didn't kidnap me, silly. It's actually quite stupid why I'm here, but I'd rather not talk about it," she said, tears forming in her eyes.

Nick saw this and pulled her in for a hug. "It's ok, hun. I'm here for you."

Meggie smiled and whiped her eyes. "Thanks. What is that?" she asked, pointing at Nick's N64.

"You don't know what that is?" Nick asked, surprised.

"No, I do not," she said, still staring at it.

"It's Nintendo 64. You play video games on it. You do know what video games are, right?" he asked.

"Yes, I've heard of them, but I've never played before," she said.

"Do you wanna play?" Nick offered.

"Well, I wouldn't be any good," she said, worried.

"Don't worry about it. You decide whether you wanna play or not," he said.

Meggie smiled. "Alright, I decide to play," she said.

"I'll go easy on you," he said. "We'll play Mario Kart. It's probably the easiest."

"K," she said. Nick showed her what to do. "Ok, I understand," Meggie said, as they started the game.

"Hey, you're pretty good," he said.

"Thank you. I have a shell, can I hit you with it?" Meggie wondered.

"Uh, no," he said, after a while.

"Sure thing, Nick," Meggie said, not believing him. She pressed a button, and the shell flew backwards, banging into Nick. "You lied," she said, as Nick chuckled.

"Sorry, but you were beating me," he whined.

"And I still am," Meggie laughed, as she crossed the finish line, beating Nick by a few seconds.
