Korn and Nsync: Who's Your fav?

We started out this section with the definition of music for a reason. Boybands have never been respected for some reason, and I suppose it's because they do tend to have young fans. But what REALLY irriates us is when fans of other types of music tell us that *NSYNC "Sucks". OR act like our opinion of *NSYNC being a good group is not valid. For the purpose of argument, let's use these two types of fans: Korn and *NSYNC.

First off, what is the difference between KORN and *NSYNC. They are both music groups. They both entertain. They both sell overpriced T-Shirts at their concerts. But the fact remains that they are both considered MUSIC. Okay, maybe they do cater to very different types of people, but think of it this way: There are many mature *NSYNC fans just as there are many little girls the like Korn because they are "in".

An exapmle of this is Sarah's lunch table. Today they got into a discussion about *NSYNC (keep in mind these are sophomore high school girls). Sarah's friends say that *NSYNC sucks and that Korn is cool. So what exactly is the drawl of Korn to 15/16 year old girls? Because it's in. Because it's "cool". At this point in their lives, *NSYNC is not the "cool" thing to do. So really, Korn is an image just like *NSYNC is.

There is Korn Merchandise, there is *NSYNC merchandise. There are Korn Concerts; there are *NSYNC concerts. The money for all this stuff goes to the same place- Management. Korn doesn't see the money, *NSYNC doesn't see the money. So Why fight about it? There is enough room in this world for all types of music, be it Offspring and Korn, or *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys (yes BSB..we don't Hate the BSB, contrary to popular belief). It's all a matter of personal opinion anyway, so why worry about it?
