The JOWI Sailboat/Flatbed Trailer

The JOWI combination sailboat trailer is a flat bed trailer that satisfies many transport needs economically. Bolt one of our proven JOWI folding, adjustable steel cradles to the trailer deck with the provided heavy-duty U-bolts and safely haul your sailboat to Key West, your backyard, or anywhere else. Remove the cradle and you can haul anything weighing up to 6,000 pounds -- cars, sand, lumber, concrete blocks, etc. Practically speaking, a sailboat trailer for boats over 18 feet in length is a sizeable investment. JOWI offers a trailer that will carry your boat, and can be used for many other hauling jobs during the long periods of time when it is not used as a boat hauler. The JOWI sailboat/flatbed trailer costs less than comparable capacity conventional boat trailers that only carry boats. JOWI trailers come standard with one-axle electric brakes, tongue jack with wheel, safety chains and shackles, lighting to meet or exceed FMVSS 108, tandem steel fenders, brackets and bolts to mount JOWI cradles, either the Model .5 or Model 1. A wide array of optional equipment can further enhance the JOWI trailer's utility. This includes a hot-dipped galvanized finish, electric brakes on both axles, 24"-high pressure-treated 5/4 pine sides with galvanized stakes, 10,000-lb nylon ratchet tie-down straps, bow stop/rest, and a spare tire and wheel with mount. Another option that can be added is a boat/cradle lift, which consists of two beams and four manual screw/jacks that allow the boat and cradle to be lifted from the trailer bed. The JOWI sailboat/flatbed trailer is all MIG welded from structural steel channel with steel tube crossmembers, to provide a very stiff frame that will not twist. The maintenance-free Rubber Ride tandem axles give the softest ride possible. See the JOWI Product Line for specific configurations.
