WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB
I'm washed in the blood of the Lamb,
my sins are washed away.
One day I'll stand before the throne
and hear my Father say,
"Welcome home my child
come in sit down and stay."
It was for you my Son
walked up the hill that day.
It was for you that He became the Lamb
the only way.
It was for you he gave his life
and rose again to die no more.
It was for you he became the only open door.
The perfect Lamb of God
will wash your sins away.
Won't you come and ask him ,
all you have to do
is believe in your heart
that he is the way and pray.
It was for you God's Son was made the Way.
The perfect Lamb of God
paid your sin debt to that day.
