WHEN I LOOK UP
When I wake up
and look to the sky;
I smile
when I meet Your eyes.
When I turn
to see the beauty
of all that surrounds me;
The awe of Your
creation abound in me.
When I've had a bad day;
and feel alone;
Your great warmth fills me
and I know
I am in Your arms.
When all I long for
is to be alone with You;
The soft sounds
of the wind refresh me
like only
Your breath of life can do.
When I'm trembling inside
and all I can manage
to do is cry;
I feel
Your abounding grace and love,
and Your kindness
wipe the tears from my eyes.
