A CHILD'S POEM
I thought I saw an angel
As I hid beneath my bed
I thought I saw an angel
As I covered up my head.
An angel to watch over me?
How neat, if this could really be
An angel that is love and light
To keep me safe all through the night.
How happy, happy I can be
With an angel to watch over me!
Thank you! Thank you! Now I know
Safe to sleep I can go.
