I PRAY
Yea though I walk through the valley
thou art with me, to lead,
guide and protect me.
To walk with me
throughout the day,
to be with me in every way.
I ask that my heart
be made strong,
from those that try
to lead me wrong.
I will fear no evil
for thou art with me,
you are my comforter
from thine enemy.
I pray for life,
health and strength,
and to lead me in your way.
I ask you Lord, let me live
to see another day.
I thank you for
the many blessings
you give me each day,
I thank you for those
yet to come my way.
At the end of the day
as I lie in my bed,
I ask you Lord to
rest my weary head.
By the glory of God
I live each day to say,
Prayer is the key,
Prayer is the only way.
