Where is my knight in shining armor?
Where is my prince with soft blond hair,
And deep blue eyes.
I will tell you where!
Wandering his castle
Or saving his dumb little princess.
I’m no damsel in distress,
Or dumb little princess.
I don’t need to be rescued,
Or protected from a dragon.
So what am I to do?
Maybe I’m not meant to be some knight’s little princess,
Maybe something more.
But one thing is for sure,
I’m tired on waiting on some knight to come around,
And look for an equal and not a little princess.
I think it time I make my own destiny,
And stop waiting on my knight in shining armor to make it for me.
