THOUGHT aka Troy Jones is the hottest producer, cameraman, and editor in the World. Troy's claim to fame is SPOT TELEVISION, an organization that he created with his partners , Valerie Pompey-Weathers and Rod Johnson. Troy was born on September 8th, 1970 in Wilson, NC. Troy attended North Carolina A&T as a business major, and through various life experiences and contacts found himself in the field of communications.

 Troy Jones proficiency in editing has allowed him the speed and creativity to produce over 300 episodes of SPOT TELEVISION in three years. During this time he has filmed a host of celebrities and big wigs in politics, the entertainment and sports industry.

Troy Jones is a man of character and believes in what he does, you can often find him volunteering for causes he believes in. Recently Troy produced a program that focuses on a serious issue in the

black community. AIDS. He traveled to the nations capital, Washington, DC and filmed the congressional Black Caucus' press conference. He interviewed several members of congress then

aired it on SPOT TELEVISION NEWS. The press conference was held because of the increasing number of African-Americans that are infected with AIDS. The concern is that the black community is

not receiving the proper amount of information on AIDS. The money that the government spends on AIDS awareness and prevention does not reach the black community. The press conference was called to bring attention to this problem and remedy it.

Troy also has ties with foreign affairs. Every other year OIC Inc. hosts an African American Summit. For the last three years Troy has produced a documentary style video essay on each host country.

This effort promotes cultural awareness to Americans showing Africa in a true light. The fourth annual African American Summit, which was hosted by Nelson Mandela in South Africa, was produced by Troy Jones and broadcast on SPOT TV. The summit lasted seven days and those in attendance included the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Corretta Scott King, President and founder of the OIC Howard Sullivan, C. Delores

Tucker, Activist Dick Gregory, The Lords of London and others. The summit was for free international trade and the previous two have been edited by T. Jones and Broadcasted on SPOT TV.

Troy Jones also produced and edited Muhammad Ali Day for SPOT TV as a tribute. This began on March 12, 1993 by Governor James B. Hunt of Wilson, NC as a banquet and press conference. Other production by Troy Jones includes The Busta Brown show, Reggae Central, a Gate Award recipient, The Pyramid a cultural awareness show, and interviews with George Clinton, rap pioneer KRS One, etc. Interviews with reggae artist Ziggy Marley and rap icon Redman were also produced and edited by Troy Jones were aired on the PAX network.

Troy Jones has also directed music videos the Hard Cash Money Crew of Rapazent Records and Chi-Town of Chi-Town Records. Troy enjoys working on the promotional side of events and the music industry. Whatever he puts his hands on it turns to gold.

Troy Jones is currently president of SPOT TELEVISION and Empire Productions. He lives with his wife Valerie and son Aza Jones.
