Many outdoor activities can be enjoyed in the area, including camping, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. Uwharrie Mountain Outpost provides outfitting for canoe adventures in the Uwharrie Lakes region. Canoe rentals are available, as well as Guide-assisted day and overnight canoe trip packages.
