SURVEYED for the heirs of the late Henry WHITE October 4th 1836 by virtue of an order of County Court obtained August Term 1836 a tract of land lying on the South side of Mattamuskeet Lake joining Daniel MURRAY the James WATSON land and others.

Beginning at Timothy MURRAY's South East corner of his deed at a marked sweet gum where now stands a cypress stake and running with said MURRAY's line No. 42 3/4 Wt. 117 poles to a stake, then South 47 Wt. 98 poles to cypress stake in the South Et. corner of the James WATSON land, then with FULFORD's line South 46 Et. 122 poles thence North 44 Et. 91 poles 7 links to the beginning, containing 70 acres.

Pursuant to an order of the worshipful court of pleas and Quarter session obtained August Term 1836, We the undersigned, commissioners have proceeded to divide the above described tract of land in the following manner, under the denomination Lot No. One, Lots No. two etc., Viz:

Lot No. 1. We have laid off and allotted to Neriah WHITE, beginning at a stake the beginning of the tract and running South 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to a stake in the first division line, then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 117 poles to a stake in the James WATSON line, then No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to MURRAY's line, thence with his line to the first station containing 8 ½ acres valued at $213 and pays fourteen dollars and seventy-five cents.

Lot No. 2. We have laid off and allotted to John WHITE, beginning at a stake standing in the first division line and running So. 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to a stake in the second division line then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 117 poles to a stake in the James WATSON line, then with said line No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the first division line, thence with said line to the first station containing 8 ½ acres, valued at $193 and receives $5.25 cents.

Lot No. 3. We have laid off and allotted to Mary WHITE Beginning at a stake in the second division line running So. 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to a stake in the third division line, then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 117 ½ poles to the James WATSON line, then with said line, No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the second division line thence with said line to the first station containing 8 ½ acres valued at $193, and receives $5.25 cents.

Lot No. 4. We have laid off and allotted to Reuben WHITE Beginning at a stake in the third division line and running So. 44 West 11 poles 10 links to the fourth division line then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 117 ½ poles to the James WATSON line, then with said line No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the third division line and from thence to the first station, containing 8 ½ acres valued at $193 and receives $5.25 cents.

Lot No. 4. We have laid off and allotted to Henry WHITE it being the lot whereon the dwelling house stands beginning at a stake standing in the fourth division line and running So. 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to the fifth division line, then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 118 poles to a stake in the James WATSON line, then with said line No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the fourth division line and from thence to the first station containing 8 ½ acres valued at $290 and pays ninety-one dollars and seventy-five cents.

Lot No. 6. We have laid off and allotted to Joshua WHITE Beginning at a stake in the fifth division line runing So. 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to a stake in the sixth division line then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 118 ½ poles to a stake in the James WATSON line then with said line No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the fifth division line thence to the first station containing 8 ½ acres valued at $173 and receives $25.25 cents.

Lot No. 7. We have laid off and allotted to James WHITE Beginning at a stake in the sixth division line running So. 44 Wt. 117 poles 10 links to a stake in the seventh division line, then No. 42 3/4 Wt. 119 poles to a stake in the James WATSON line, then with said line No. 47 Et. 11 poles 10 links to the sixth division line, thence to the first station, containing 8 ½ acres, valued at $173 and receives $25.25 cents.

Lot No. 8. We have laid off and allotted to James WHITE beginning at a stake in the seventh division line and running So. 44 Wt. 11 poles 10 links to a stake then running with FULFORD's line No. 46 Wt. 122 poles to a stake WATSON's corner then with said WATSON's line No. 47 Et. to a stake in the division line, thence to the first station containing 10 ½ acres valued at $158 dollars and receives $40.25 cents.

In concurrence with each other in this division of land we the undersigned commissioners have hereunto set our hands and seals this the 4th day of October, 1836.
