Know all men by these presents that we, John B. HARMON, Joseph CARAWAN and Ann WHITE for and in consideration for the sum of forty pounds to us in hand paid at the delivery of these presents the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto Henry WHITE SR. all our right, title and interest in and to a certain negro woman named Oda about twenty four years old to have and to hold to the said Henry WHITE his heirs or assigns the above bargained negro Oda forever and we the said John B. HARMON, Joseph CAROWAN and Ann WHITE for ourselves our heirs, executors, administrators or assigns the above bargained negro woman unto the said Henry WHITE his heirs or assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend against any person claiming by through or under us in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 18th day of November, 1800.

Know all men by these presents that we, John B. HARMON, Henry WHITE and Ann WHITE for and in consideration of the sum of ten pounds to us in hand paid at the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold, conveyed unto Joseph CARROWAN his heirs and assigns all our right, title and interest to and in a certain negro woman named Rose the property of the estate of Joshua WHITE deceased, To have and to hold to the said Joseph CAROWAN his heirs or assigns the above bargained negro Rose forever and we the said John B. HARMON, Henry WHITE and Anne WHITE for ourselves or heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns the above bargained negro unto the said Joseph CARROWAN his heirs or assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend against the claim of any person claiming by trhough or under us. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands, and seals the 18th day of November, 1800.

HARMON, Joseph CARROWAN and Henry WHITE for and in consideration of the sum of ten pounds to us in hand paid at the delivery of these presents the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto Ann WHITE all our right, title and interest in and to a certain negro girl child named Fanny about two years and one half old - To have and to hold to the said Ann WHITE her heirs and assigns forever and the said John B. HARMON, Joseph CARROWAN and Henry WHITE for ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators and assigns the above bargained negro girl fanny unto the said Ann WHITE her heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend against the claim of any person claiming by through or under us. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 18th day of Nov. 1800.

This Indenture made this Eighteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and Twelve between Joseph CARROWON of the county of Hyde and State of North Carolina of the one part and John Prior STOTESBURY of the Same State and county of the other part Witnesseth that I the sd. Joseph CARROWON for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty Shillings to me in hand paid by the Said John P. STOTESBURY the Reciept I do hereby acknowledge have bargained Sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain Sell convey and confirm unto the Said John P. STOTESBURY his heirs or assigns forever a certain piece or parcel of Land Situated in the county of Hyde Lying and being on the South Side of Mattamuskeet Lake beginning at a cypress near the lake Side Lovett BELLs line and Runing Said line to Samuel WESTONs line Thence Runing Samuel WESTONs line to the Lake thence along the Lake with the windings of the Lake to Lovett BELLs line and thence along the Said BELLs Line to the first Station Containing Three Acres more or Less to have and to hold to the Said John P. STOTESBURY his heirs or assigns forever the above bargained premises with all the privileges and appurtenances Thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and I the Said Joseph CARROWON for my Self my heirs Executors admrs. or assigns the above bargained premises unto the Said John P. STOTESBURY his heirs or assigns Shall and will warrant and ever defend from my Self my heirs and assigns and against the claims of any other person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and year above written
