To all people to whom these presents Shall come Greeting know ye that I Joshua FOREMAN of Hyde County in the province of North Carolina planter have for and in Consideration of the first Sum of forty Shillings proclamation money in hand payed at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents by John SCOTT of the County of hyde & province aforesaid planter have Given Granted bargained and Sold Alined and Confirmed unto the Said John SCOTT and his heirs and assigns a Certain tract or parcel of Land Containing one hundred Acres Lying and being in hyde County in the province afsd. and lying and being on the North Side of Matchapungo Creek beginning at the Corner of Joshua FOREMAN's Corner tree on the South Este of Land Contained in the Same patten thence Running Este 65 pole then North 275 pole then west 65 pole then South 275 pole to the first Station it being part of a Grater tract which was pattened by Joshua FOREMAN the 6th Day of April 1765 togather with all priviledges thereunto belonging To have and to hold the Said Granted and bargained premises to him the Said John SCOTT his heirs & assigns forever to his and their proper use benefit and Behoof forever and I the Said Joshua FOURMAN for me my heirs Excrs and Admrs Do Covenant firmly by these presents to warrant & Defend the aforesaid Bargained premises against any just and Lawfull Claims whatsoever the Said John SCOTT yealding and paying four Shillings proclamation money every year to his Majesty's Quitrents for the Land and in witness whereof I the Said Joshua FOREMAN have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 2 Day of March 1767

To all people to whom these presents Shall Come Greeting Know ye that I Joshua FOREMAN of Hyde County in the province of North Carolina planter have for and in consideration of the just Sum of Ten pounds proclamation money in hand paid at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents by William GURGANUS of Hyde County and province of Hyde and province aforesaid planter have Given Granted Bargained and Sold alined and Confirmed unto the Said William GURGANUS and his heirs or assigns a Certain Tract or parcell of Land Containing by Estimation one hundred Acres Lying and being in Hyde County in the province aforesaid Lying and being on the North Side of Matchapungo Creek beginning at a pine west of John SILEVENT's Corner tree Running Est with his Line 65 pole then North 275 pole then west 65 pole then South 275 to the first Station it being part of a Grater tract which was pattent by Joshua FOREMAN the 6 Day of April 1765 and all priviledges and advantages to the Said tract or parcell of land now or at any time heretofore Belonging or appertaining all the Right title Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of me the Said Joshua FOREMAN of in and to the Same Belonging To Have and to Hold the Said tract or parcel of Land with the appurtenances unto the Said William GURGANUS his heirs and assigns for Ever and I the Said Joshua FOREMAN and my heirs the Said track or parcel of Land with the appurtenances to the Said William GURGANUS his heirs and assigns against myself my heirs and all other persons Shall and will warrant and defend and forever Defend the aforesaid Land to him the Said William GURGANUS yealding and paying fore Shillings per hundred to his Majesty. In witness whereof I the Said Joshua FOREMAN have hereunto put my hand and Seal this 2 Day of March 1767.

To all people to whom these presents Shall Come Greeting Know ye that I Joshua FOREMAN of Hyde County in the province of North Carolina planter have for and in Consideration of the just Sum of Forty Shillings proclamation money in hand paid at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents by William HOWARD of the County of Hyde and province aforesaid planter have Given Granted Bargained and Sold Alined and Confirmed unto the Said William HOWARD and his heirs or assigns a Certain Tract or parsell of Land Containing by Estimation one hundred Acres Lying and being in Hyde County in the province aforesaid Lying and on the North Side of Matchapungo Creek Beginning at a pine on the East Side of the Syprus Swamp at the South Est Corner of John SCOTT's hundred Acres ought of the Same pattent Running Est 65 pole thence North 275 pole then west 65 pole then South 275 to the first Station It being part of a Grater track which was pattened by Joshua FOREMAN the 6 Day of April 1765 together with all priviledges thereunto Belonging To Have and to Hold the Said Granted and Bargained Premises to him the Said William HOWARD his heirs & assigns forever to his and there proper use benefit and behoof for Ever and I the Said Joshua FOREMAN for me myself my Heirs Exctrs And Admors Do Covenant firmly by these presents to warrant & Defend the aforesaid bargained premises against any just and Lawfull Claim What So Ever the Said William HOWARD and paying four Shillings procl. money Every year to his Majestys Interest for the Land and In Witness whereof I the Said Joshua FOREMAN have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 2 Day of March 1767.
