Benjamin HALL married (2) Prudence Ann ROSE, the daughter of Mitchell ROSE and his wife Winney LINTON on January 17, 1864.

1. Celia HALL, born circa 1866.
2. Jackson Web HALL, born April 7, 1867.
3. Arthur HALL, born circa 1868.
4. William HALL, born circa 1872.
Benjamin HALL married (3) Josephanna JONES, the daughter of David JONES and his wife Anna on February 19, 1880.
Dorcas HALL was born circa 1850. She married William Mitchell ROSE, the son of Zion ROSE and his wife Polly FODEREY on May 23, 1875 at Haywood MASONs home in Lake Landing, NC. Dorcas ROSE died August 22, 1931 in Lake Landing Township, Hyde County, NC and is buried in an unmarked grave alongside the curve in the road where the old Mitchell CARAWAN homesite once stood.
Children of William M. ROSE and his wife Dorcas HALL are:
1. Hettie Caroline ROSE, born March 23, 1876. She married John Mitchell CARAWAN, the son of Joseph G. CARAWAN and Nancy WHITE, his wife, on October 1, 1893. Hettie CARAWAN died in 1907.
2. Hettie Catherine ROSE, born February 12, 1878. She died October 4, 1878.
3. Minnie ROSE, born September 30, 1879. She died October 26, 1879.
4. Annie Mary ROSE, born December 14, 1882. She married John Wesley RABURN, the son of William J. and his wife Harriet L. (MAYO) RABURN on November 30, 1902 at the residence of John W. CARAWAN in Lake Landing. Annie RABURN died March 14, 1914.
5. William Samuel ROSE, born February 24, 1884. He died March 3, 1884.
6. Pollie Mitchel ROSE, born May 10, 1885.
