In the Name of God Amen, I Caleb WHITE of the State of North Carolina and County of Hyde being inform in body but in sound desposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament and in the following maner and form that is to say I give & recomend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God who gave it to me & my body to be buried at the descretion of my Executrix and touching such worldly goods as it hath pleased God to bless me with I Will and Bequeath in the following maner.
Item: I give and bequeath to my eldest son Caleb WHITE my plantation and land on Mattamuskeet lying on the South side of the lake containing one hundred & twenty give acres and also one negro wench named Peg and her futer increase one negro girl named Amy one boy named Will and one named Cate and one Table.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son Joseph WHITE two hundred acres of land more or less lying on Knotts Island on the Indian Creek it being on the south side of a line of marked trees also fifteen acres of swamp land lying in Virginia, Norfolk County joing Kader WALLASSes line one bed & furniture one chist one musket and one negro boy named Jack.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son Henry WHITE and his heirs my plantation and land containing one hundred and thirty eight and a halfe acres together with thirty two acres of swamp land lying and being in the State of Virginia & County of Norfolk and on the southwest side of Spring branch and bounded on the Eastermost side by Eocaty Swamp also one cow & calfe and their increase one gun one large ovil table and one negro by name Antony.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son Kaddar WHITE and his heirs one negro boy by named Henry and one negro girl named Nancy and her increase and if it should so happen that either of his elder Brothers dies without heir my will is that he & his heirs shall inherrit such Brothers land and the perishonable estate of such Brother so deceased shall fall to my three Daughters Lydia Sarah & Prudence WHITE and be eaquelly divided amongst them.
Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Lydia WHITE and her heirs one negro girl named Fanney and the increase of said negro also I give to her one bed & furniture one chist & one spining wheel.
Item: I give to my Daughter Sarah WHITE and her heirs one negro wench named Bial and one negro girl named Savinah and her increase one bed and furniture & one spining wheel.
Item: I give to my Daughter Prudence WHITE one negro girl named Thiab and her increase.
Item: I give & bequeath to my beloved wife Lydia WHITE my Plantation and land lying on the south side of Mattamuskeet Lake containing one hundred and twenty five acres during her widowhood and in case she should marry my will is that she shall have one halfe of the said Plantation and land during her life unless she should be minded to move into Virginia Norfolk County to live and if so then my will is that she should have one halfe of my Plantation and land in Virginia Norfolk County during her life and that my plantation and land in Mattamuskeet shall amediantley fall to my son Caleb WHITE, I give to her one horse and the above named negro name Bial and negro girl Nancy and Thial during her natural life and all my negroes herein before mentioned (those to Caleb WHITE excepted) during her widowhood I give to her my stock of every kind together will all and singular my goods and chattles which are not herein otherwise desposed of during her life and after her decease my desire is that it be eaquilley divided amongst my seven children herein b efore named and I do hereby appoint my son Caleb WHITE to manage and settle my business in Virginia and Lastly I constitute and ordain my beloved wife Lydia WHITE sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanull all other Will & Testaments ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 10th day October 1789.

This Last Will of Caleb WHITE was exhibited into Court and proved by the oath of James WATSON and evidence thereto who swore that he believed the Testator to be of a sound disposing mind & memory at the time of Executing the same and also saw Amus NEAL & Zach FISHER sign with him as subscribing evidences at the same time.
