Know all men by these presents that this Indenture made and entered into by and between Benjamin HALL and wife Polly HALL on the first part and Anson CREDLE on the second part all of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Benjamin HALL & Polly his wife for and in consideration of the sum of thirty five dollars to them in hand paid by Anson CREDLE on the second, the receipt and payment of which is hereby acknowledged by the said Benjamin HALL & Polly his wife and they are therewith hereby fully satisfied contented and paid, have bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do bargain, sell convey and confirm unto Anson CREDLE, his heirs executors, administrators and assigns forever one undivided fourth part of a certain peice of parcel of land containing fifty acres lying and being on Swan Quarter up the Bay Beginning at Foster JARVIS' corner on a ditchbank Running across the bank and ditch to the edge of the ditch thence with the edge of the ditch to John CREDLE's south corner (now Anson CREDLE's corner) in the middle of a ditch, thence with the said ditch to Ephraim O'NEAL's (now Anson CREDLE's) line, thence with his line to Charity MIDYETT's line, thence with her line to the FODRY Patent line thence with the Patent line to Foster JARVIS's line, thence with his line to the corner, thence to the Beginning.
To have and to hold to him the said Anson CREDLE his heirs and assigns for ever the one undivided fourth of the above described land and premises which land the said Polly HALL heired at the death of her Brother David HARRIS Son of Joseph HARRIS dec.d And the said Benjamin HALL & Polly HALL his wife for the above consideration do hereby convey the same to the said Anson CREDLE, his heirs ex.rs adm.rs & assigns for ever together with all its appurtenances, Privileges and emoluments, drains and drainways, and the said Benjamin HALL & Polly his wife for themselves, their heirs, ex.rs adm.rs & assigns & do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Anson CREDLE his heirs & assigns forever to warrant and defend the right and title to said land from them, their heirs & assigns unto the said Anson CREDLE his heirs and assigns -
In witness of all which the said Benjamin HALL & his wife Polly have hereunto set their hands and seals this 1st day of November 1850 -

Be it Remembered that the execution of the within deed was this day duly proved before the undersigned one of the Judges of the superior Courts of Law and Equity in and for said State by the acknowledgement of Benjamin HALL and Polly HALL the bargainors therein named and afterwards the said Polly wife of the said Benjamin HALL being privily examined before the undersigned separate and aprt from her said husband sayeth that she executed the same willingly and voluntarily without any compulsion or constraint on the part of her said husband and that she doth now voluntarily assent thereto. Let the deed and this certificate be Registered.

Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin HALL of the County and State aforesaid of the one part have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto BURRUS & CARTER of the County and State aforesaid all of my right, title and interest in a certain lot of corn containing ten thousand Hills now standing in Thos. MANN’s field opposite of the said Benj HALL’s house for and in consideration of the sum of fourty dollars to me in hand paid the recpt. of which I do hereby acknowledge myself fully paid and satisfied. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal Oct. 4th 1854
