Russell Miller and myself sitting on the sand bag entrance to the communications bunker at Phu Tuc. Russell joined the company after we moved to Phu Tuc. Somehow Russell and a couple of more 11Cs (Mortars) got assigned to an engineer unit. Russell is from the outer banks of North Carolina. Over the years some of you may have seen him in that area. Russell lives about an hours drive from me, but I am not sure of his address. During our stay in Vietnam my Mom and Dad went to visit his Mom, and once I got back I went to see her too. From my last report Russell and his Mom are both doing well. (Photograph is from my collection.)
